enjoy this restaurant to the fullest. i ordered the aged ribeye with loaded potatoe. thesteakwas juicy, tender didn really needsteaksauce just mmm....delicious. cutomer service was awesome. nice atmosphere with nice outside dining.

nice place. me and my wife liked it. she got asteaksalad and i had the sea bass. the food is somewhat formal but the atmosphere is casual. i thought the wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. appetizer, two dinners, no alcohol, with tip - $70.

great bar and patio. excellent happy hour app specials as well. wings are smoked and bursting with flavor. not too hot a robust medium.steakwas cooked just right and service was great. good for a date or out with friends

great experience. the food tasted just the way is supposed to. a $30 rib eye should taste like a $30 rib eye, and this one did. my wife order the couscous (at asteakhouse, she is weird like that) and i hate to admit that it was delicious, as well as the other sides. i am happy to pay a few extra dollars for this kind of food and service. when in need of fantastic meat and bourbon to fulfill your soulless heart and empty your wallet, this is the place to go.

we had seared tuna ab awesome dish. fish tacos were great. my friends had burgers andsteakwhich were fabulous too. we need to visit it again soon to have other goodies.

we had a group of 16 including, 2 young children, so we were forced to sit on the patio. after we all ordered, it began to rain so we had to move inside. the manager came over and said we would have to wait  45 mins to be seated.  he said "look, you took a chance sitting outside. there isn't anything else i can do"
no apology whatsoever.
 he said they will scrap our orders and re-cook since we had to wait. after we were seated they brought out of meals quickly.  mysteakwas cold and over cooked. this tells me they did not scrap out orders. they just sent out cold meals that had been in the window for 45 mins.  i canceled my meal all together. the manager never came over to discuss my canceled order.  they brought out free desserts to make up. still no apology from anyone on staff. 
our waiter was great. i tipped him $20 on a meal i didn't eat. i will not return because of that manager.  what a joke that place is. spend your money somewhere else.

awesome. great atmosphere for a family dinner for a date night or for drinks with the girls the staff is awesome the executive chef eric is wonderful the bar is wonderful they have amazing dreams i go there probably at least three times a month i've never had bad service and i have never had a bad meal and the kids meals are real meal with a real serving size. there is a new happy hour call the bar bites it is excellent the food on the happy hour menu is excellent i love going to firebirds anytime if you're looking for a greatsteaktry the chili rubbed dell monaco or a great drink the desert pair of margarita! all the servers are great but ask for dylan from fort lauderdale

go to place forsteakand for a date night!. i will pass over shula's anyday for firebirds. excellent steaks and incredible service. everything we have ever had on the menu has been fantastic. don't turn your nose up due to it being a chain (and a very small chain at that) and just enjoy some very high quality and well prepared food.

excellent customer service. the other evening my husband and i had dinner at a favorite restaurant of ours, firebirds. my husband ordered a new york strip and unfortunately it was a very tough, chewy steak. he did not complain about his meal until the manager, mike warner, appeared at our table to question how our meal was. at that point, my husband shared his dissatisfaction with his steak. mike apologized and offered to fix him anothersteakwhich my husband refused, as he had already eaten half of it. mike asked him several times if he could replace the meal. after leaving the table, mike came back to us and we could tell that mike wanted to correct the mistake and then offered him dessert which we refused. at this point, mike stated that the only way to correct this situation was to take the meal off our bill. of course, we were very satisfied with this decision and then we shared with mike that we appreciated this, as we frequent this restaurant often. we will continue to dine at firebirds and appreciate the outstanding customer service that mike warner displayed that evening.

what a find in a chain for op!. a weeknight visit to firebird wood fired grill proved to be the right choice. seated promptly, greeted promptly by our server sarah, we were impressed with the décor and the charm of this casual upscale eatery. while not on the low end of price points for a chain restaurant, it is definitely a place to go for a special occasion. we shared the crab cake app with a delicious mango salsa that had subtle heat, paired with a lightly dressed fresh cole slaw salad, and the crab cakes were perfectly cooked and chock full of crab. our entrees arrived shortly after that, and were perfectly cooked and seasoned. the prime rib entrée had to be well over the 12 ounce portion, and was moist and tender. the filet mignon was presented at just the right temperature, although perhaps just a little heavy on the pepper in the seasoning, nonetheless as good asteakas i've had anywhere in the kc metro area (and i've had quite a few). save room for dessert-the flourless chocolate cake is awesome! for an eatery that isn't yet a year old i hope that fwg will continue to attract the crowd and deliver the quality of food that will make it a go to destination for overland park diners

we had dinner there last night! great gluten free menu! manager stopped by the table to inform us that our gluten free meals were gf and the kitchen staff had changed gloves before handling any of our food! very reassuring as i can not tolerate even the slightest cross contamination! mysteakwas perfectly cooked and my baked potato was delicious! blt salad was excellent as well! it is expensive but with every penny!!!

love it. went to firebirds for my first time this week. it was absolutely amazing! i had the fresh cut bacon wrapped filet with a baked potato. mysteakwas perfectly cooked and tender, my friend had the sesame salmon and absolutely loved it. beststeakand salmon either of us have had in a while. key lime pie for dessert was fabulous. and great service from kelly. we will definitely be back, so happy you opened here.

barely, thumb up.. saturday afternoon lunch with wife.
place 90% empty, yet they tried to give us a lousy, noisy table right by the kitchen pick up counter. i requested a booth, and we were then comfortably seated.
ordered from the lunch menu.
our server, obviously new, was very nice, but poorly trained. had to ask for straws, sugar, etc.
wife hadsteaksandwich, which she enjoyed. i had baby back ribs, with fries & cole slaw. ribs weren't bad, but were obviously prepared, packaged and heated. fries were pretty good, cole slaw very good.
lunch prices are very reasonable, food is ok, but i see no reason to return.
i'm not against corporations, just don't care for "corporate food".

we will never come back. this is the second chance after having our meal bought the first time because it took forever and was cold. we waited 2 hours for a table, they ran out of mich ultra and thesteakwas improperly cooked. after waiting another 20 minutes food was boxed and ready to go. they brought out the wrong steak!!! don't waist your time, money or calories! the waitress was nice though.

very disappointed it took them 45 min to get a drink in the bar out app came before the drinks. went in the resturant for dinner thesteakthat was ordered med was rare they forgot the soup and and the salad that was ordered with dressing on the side was drenched they did take care of everything but after 2 hours i left hungry and not relaxed. not how i like to start the weekend
