thai place known for its noodle soup...they have a spicy scale of 1 (or 2) to 7. really hard for me to judge this place mainly because i got 2 spice and was dying...haven't had anything so spicy. i can't even image what 7levelwould be like. but my colleague who eats very spicy said its great...so i'll take his word for it.

for those indonesians living in sydney, you will probably missing "bakso".

my experience while trying out the food here is, it reminds me of "bakso".
they have options for spicy level. i orderedlevel2, i literally cried. i used to think i'm pretty good at eating spicy food. but i couldn't even finish this one.
wayyy too spicy for me.

but when i missed "bakso" i'll definitely come back!

the service was terrible. the staff was astonishingly rude. i have rated the place as 3/5 to be fair since the food wasn't half bad although i wouldn't visit the place again.
tip- do not order thelevel2 or 3 tom yum soup even if you think you like spicy food! trust me on this!

this was my fav restaurant. not mine only, but ours. yes.
i used to dine in there for several times in a week... ;d
well, not too long since they opened this branch at cbd city (chinatown) , the first branch is at bondi station... yet it has became people's fav. i think because they serve many variants of foods... also they serve small portion of noodle soup/ rice soup and thelevelof spiciness is up to lv7. for melevel1 will do.. + extra chilli on the side. i have tried lv 7 (a spoon only) and that was a bomb. and never think to re order it again...
desserts : mixed jelly with coconut, fried bread with pandan sauce + i discovered that you should have ordered fried banana and ask for extra pandan sauce on the side. thats yum....
it makes me homesick (i miss sydney aka its foods) hehe....

(i licked some of he soup oflevel1 and had to down a few glasses of water). pandan fried doughnut dessert yummm!

the only meal in sydney that i yearn for -- at least for now. my best friend, who lives in the city, took me there last summer and it was good! the noodle was firm and the soup was rich with flavors. there are a few numbers of spicinesslevelfor the adventure foodie in you. the bowl is best eaten on a cold windy night especially after a night out.

food is very reasonably priced and very tasty. the menu has alot of choices and you can choose yourlevelof spiciness.
cons:
expect to wait for a table as this place is popular.
its not a restaurant you go to to sit and relax while eating it seems there is a constant pressure or vibe to get you out in a hurry.
you could end up sharing your table with complete strangers, and sharing means pretty much touching elbows.

our friend said we need to try do dee paidang while in sydney, so we did. we ordered few entrees, papaya salad and a bowl of noodle each (big for boys, small for girls). i picked #8level5 do dee super volcano! boy it was hot, even for me a chilli maniac. but i managed to finish it, yeay! lastly we closed our dining experience at do dee with sweet dessert. we all had water chesnut with jelly. it's soooo good, i still think about it sometime. i wish one of thai restaurants in perth does it. we enjoyed our food at do dee, service was adequate.

so glad my friend introduced me to this restaurant. we went here for a late night supper and was amazed that it was still quite busy.

there are many dishes on the menu filled with many typical thai dishes and also more traditional dishes you won't find in many other places. i was determined to try something less typical so i went with their popular noodle soup dish.

i love spicy food, food in sydney just can't get spicy enough for me, so i was excited when you got to choose thelevelof spiciness 😊😊 be warned even the lowlevelis quite spicy so if you can't handle spicy food, i recommend the lowest level.

although the restaurant was busy, i found the food came out quite quickly. something else to try are the variety of thai desserts too! 👌

i’ve seen so many photos of this place on instagram and heard great reviews about it and boy did this place not disappoint! one of the cheapest places you can eat at in chinatown with bowls of noodles starting from $6. the do dee monster is tom yum spicy noodles worth a mixture of tender ribs, pork and fishballs. i order thislevel1 spicy, which is already quite spicy. you can also choose the type of noodles you would like.

had to wait about 10 mins for a table at 2 pm yesterday
the restaurant is quite simple and is well priced for the portions of the food
the higher thelevelof food equals the more chillier
average service and waited about 5 mins for our food to arrive
would come back to try the lvl 7 tom yum soup!!!

this restaurant is a must try for lovers of spicy food and thai noodle soups. this place is affordable but the proportions for said pricing can be debated. there is a large variety in the menu from noodle soup to traditional thai food but if you want the full experience try thier famous noodle soups with 7 different spice levels. my personal favourite for this restaurant is the king size noodle soup (because i am a big eater) and the paw paw salad plate with the side dish accompaniment. the decoration of this franchise is very unique and trendy, with very good service. the only downside to this restaurant is the fact that they like to charge for the little stuff like sauce and side dishes.

i really recommend this place for people who have that one friend who 'thinks' they are good at eating spicy food, thelevel7 noodle soup would be the perfect test. remember to film the whole thing so you can tease them later 😂

love their noodles!! i have fallen in love with their tom yum noodles (no level) since my first visit there. the soup base is divine! unfortunately they don't give a lot of soup so next time i'll try asking for more soup. my friends have triedlevel1-3, though i foundlevel1 already too spicy for me. besides the noodle, recommend their pork neck skewer, pad thai and lots of their desserts. bbq squid is a good option too if you like seafood, it's very tender and juicy. also tried duck curry, papaya salad, vegie&pork dumpling. none of them disappoint!
