this place is quite good. it's got more norman-based history than you can shake a stick at. thefoodis good for drive-in cuisine, and the staff is usually pretty friendly. it does get expensive, but it's a nice treat. i recommend going off of normal with your drink orders. get creative!

voted for the best milkshakes in norman. i absolutely love them and i think they really really good!

only problem is and why i give it a 3.0 is they use peanut oil for all theirfoodand i'm allergic. (which who really still uses peanut oil these days?!) so i just stop by for the awesome milkshakes.

wonderful taste of the good old days. i have been eating at classic's for years, and i genuinely love this place. thefoodis always great, even though the service could sometimes be better. the menu is much more extensive than sonic's, and i am so happy that despite sonic building next door and then across the street classic's has stayed strong. i love that i can get fried okra with my burger here. the choices for drinks are boundless and you can add candy to your choice. they serve up my very favorite hot fudge sundae here. they basically line a styrofoamcup with hot fudge--so that you have about an inch worth of fudge on the bottom--then they add the ice cream, more hot fudge, whipped cream and of course a cherry on top. there is no lack of chocolate deliciousness here!

a must when in norman :). i don't go to norman very often but when i do it's a given that i will be stopping here to eat. this is one of the best burger places i've ever eaten at. the cajun fries are just flat out incredible and the burgers are cheesy, beefy goodness. they also have a wide selection of slushes, sodas and shakes. the best part is that not only is thefoodamazing, you don't have to empty your wallet to eat here.

thefoodis good and the service is fast. their potato boats are one of the best options - a little pricy, but worth it. it's also nice that they offer 2 happy hours per day, and a seating area if you don't want to eat in your car.

greasy & slow but generally good!. the butterfinger shake here is delicious. the burger is good, but nothing to write home about. all the fried stuff is ok -- nothing seems home-made, but they know how to fry it.

i don't eat here very often, because it looks dirty and they have metal storage containers in the back corners of the lot, which concerns me. as much as our weather changes around here, i don't like the idea of their extrafoodproduct sitting in metal boxes in the parking lot.

great!. classic 50's has been around for a while, and is a local institution. thefoodis better than sonic's, plus it has the whole "local" thing going for it (i guess in oklahoma sonic is local, but you know what i mean). the slushes are great, and they have quite a few flavors to choose from. the friend pickles are awesome. the best part, though, is that they make their own root beer and it's some of the best! price wise, it's about the same as other drive-ins. if you're in norman, it is worth checking out.

solid choice, but not if you're in a hurry. thefoodhere is nothing to write home about. i'd certainly say it's like eating at sonic with a different view. they do have a few drink selections that separate their offerings from that of sonic, making the trip worthwhile. however, the one consistent problem with eating here is the waiting. it's not uncommon to have to wait 15 minutes to get my food. at sonic, i'm impatient if i have to wait 5. i could see the wait being justified if it took 15 minutes to make myfoodfresh, but many times it certainly doesn't taste that way.

it's not bad, certainly worth going once to see if you like it. i tend to go every now and then, but nothing i'd go out of my way for.

will never go back. this is the worst fastfoodi've ever had. it was so gross, i took a couple of bites and threw the rest away.

horrible, we havent been there in a while, and now we probably won't again. our order was not complete,foodwas burnt, and service was bad. too bad another good place has gone down hill.
