it's good, certainly not as good as it once was but nonetheless a great place to visit for a quality cup of coffee in the local area. attitude can be a little snobs rishon which is a put off

the best coffee, it's just right, not too milky and reasonably strong. always a buzzing atmosphere. staff very friendly and look very smart in their uniforms.

good coffee and service but i find this cafe a bit cramped if i'm wanting to 'drink in'. for that reason - queues permitting - i'm more likely to pop around the corner to brewtown with its great coffee and staff.

if you've never heard of the cup of excellence before, they're essentially the oscars for the best coffee in the world. an annual competition to identify the highest quality coffee produced, with the winning coffee sold online via an internet auction to the highest bidder.

since i was in newtown i dropped by to order my favourite coffee brand 'campos' they have never disappoint me yet! maybe because the intense training and standards they have are really strict.i heard that if the coffee isn't up to their standards the company will shutdown the operations! also there's the method and stance that they need to do to make their coffee. this café is small but the service speed and customer service are great, staff always smile and greets you. =dthis is why campos coffee are always the same and good, shame i don't have one locally but when i'm close by i get one! usually i love campos and toby estate otherwise ill drink tea. until next time ..... keep eating??? i mean drinking! lol

one of the best cafés around newton. classic style with south american coffee taste. besides lots of variety rather than just the regular coffees.

one of the best coffee in sydney and strategically located near the royal prince alfred hospital. access to good coffee any time of the day!

all in all, a small coffee shop with costly coffees, slow service and just the right amounts of friendliness and of snootiness. the pastries are pretty good but also dear.

unfortunately, campos coffee is incredibly cosy if you will and cramped, which markedly mars our experience at the shop.

all said and done, coffee is coffee or we don't really understand coffee. however, we can say that campos coffee isn't abominable coffee and we might come back again.

service is pretty slow - it's incredibly busy - but seldom rude.
the attention to detail, the machine-like consistent taste

i was losing hope that i'd ever get a really decent cup of coffee in sydney until going here. i have to admit, i'm spoiled in melbourne have high standards, i tried brewtown newtown but found it too hot and the vibe a bit pretentious. but campos has it spot on. yum. nice one guys

some say that coffee is the most important meal of the day and after visiting the flagship campos coffee store in newtown, leeloo couldn’t agree more! campos coffee has become synonymous with quality coffee and is served in various cafes around sydney. after visiting the mothership campos coffee store along missenden road in newtown, leeloo’s appreciation of campos coffee has been taken to a whole new dimension.

coffee from the god of campos. campos coffee at newtown is truly outstanding. the attention to detail, the machine-like precision and the unerring consistent taste is there - whenever you are in a funk or need to be shaken out of your morning malaise, do yourselves a favour, say good morning to the campos cave.

a little dissapointed. i was a big fan of campos for the last 10 years. i am proud to bring all my oversea guests to what i think is the best coffee in sydney. the aroma from every sip of their coffee is remarkable. however, from the last 2 visit within this month, i noticed that the coffee aroma is weaker and the coffee seem a little too milky. i miss the black uniform coffee men.
