campos coffee

i've been a campos devotee since 2005 in my long-haired, activist student days. even now, when i travel to sydney i stop by campos to pick up the coffee i use at home in melbourne for the month. amazing little place and an awesome empire of caffeinated amazement.

highly recommend the dark city blend.

goes above and beyond. excellent single origins, astute service, variety and superior quality... if i could always get coffee here i would (or perhaps i would just move back to melbourne?).

brownie is moorish af. wonderful.

went in looking for a coffee....walked out with a salted caramel brownie lol. my bad. it was beautifully moist in the center though and had a generous drizzle of salty caramel on top. would smash time and time again.

i had an amazing coffee experience here. brazilian coffee as short black was so sweet and chocolaty & nutty. i've visited for over 6 years and i can tell this place is one of the best coffee spot in sydney.

great little cafe off the main strip in newtown. settled in for a cappuccino with a cronut. this place gets busy but the queues move quickly. cant forget to mention the coffee was made to taste.

the campos flagship lives up to the hype. my long black was one of the best i've had, despite not usually being a campos coffee fan. there is no serious food here, but the pastries were very tempting!

campos coffee is perhaps one of the most famous coffee shops you will find in the area. i've been going to this place since my early uni days and i absolutely love this place. the coffee blend is unique and the whole vibe of this place is amazing.

i highly recommend this place if you're a real coffee lover!

i am going to cop so much slack for this but this place hands down has the best coffee in all of sydney. this place puts single origin and reuben hills to shame and they aren't even sorry. 

i wasn't event charged extra for soy which is a plus.

i always enjoy having a proper coffee in a real cup, ordered a latte but turns out to be a flat white in a latte cup, i understand you guys are busy, but the reason i go to campos is because campos makes coffee properly.

however, 15 mins wait for a coffee, the explanation : because it's a seat down coffees and there is couple of 'take away' customers..and that is their system. apology accepted!!!but i ordered my coffee before anyone of them... and you have two 3 group la mazicco coffee machine, 4 staff behind the bar, two was posing...and you tell me it's campos' system.?

rude manager, when i order my coffee he was posing and the first thing that he asked after i cancelled the flat white in the latte glass...was an arrogant look with " what is your problem, mate?"
to be honest, 15 mins for a coffee and flat white in a latte glass?? you can do better than that.... plus your attitude, i rather go to brewtown for a nice coffee !!!

best coffee around, my go-to. recently had some bad coffee experiences with places in the area, but never again....i'm walking that little extra way to get quality.

have always liked this place but the coffee just seems to get better each time i come. service is good and prompt and they have a small selection of pastries. other than that, no food. it's more of a coffee bar than cafe. allows you to enjoy the coffee experience all the more without the distractions of food.

one of the best places for a good coffee, but would you expect anything less from campos coffee in general ??

one of the best coffee's in sydney but only annoying thing is that it's not pram friendly.

if your in newtown it's definitely a go to for a great coffee. i always highly recommend the croissants too.

great coffee! i reckon it's by far one of the best coffee i've had in sydney. small shop with limited seating. their iced coffee served with ice cream and affogato is pretty good. staff are very friendly.

i've been here a few times in the past and my favourite drink was their iced coffee. it's deliciously bitter and the sweetness of the ice cream really balanced it.
today i had an almond milk flat white, which didn't disappoint.
my friend also got a little fig and ginger cake which was tasty with a very delicate ginger flavour.
