campos coffee

this is a almost everyday-must-go place when i was studying in usyd. i really love the affogato, love the thickness and taste. the coffee is adorable as well. thestaffare so friendly and they always hand to you the coffee and say thank you. i always go back for a cup of coffee if i have time nowadays.

while i was walking and touring around town, i couldn't help but take a stop at this particular cafe. this one was casually enticing and informally looking. it's like your neighborhood go to place for anything. thestaffhere were also friendly despite me being foreign to them. welcome to campos, a make your own sandwich and coffee place. 

i got one of their already suggested combinations for a sandwich. it had loads of turkey meat with cranberry sauce, brie, alfalfa sprouts and arugula on thick toasted rye bread. it was lightly flavored altogether but it called for a big and generous bite each time. the portion was a lot too, so i took home the other half for breakfast the next day. 

to partner up with my sandwich, i had a strong dose of their sweet and spiced up turmeric latte. now this was unusual sip, especially for a first timer. have you tried such? while i was in sydney i also saw some cafes offering it as well. 

campos currently has two branches in sydney. i see them potentially growing given their simplified menu, ambiance, and astaffthat gives you an amazing warm service.

i always enjoy having a proper coffee in a real cup, ordered a latte but turns out to be a flat white in a latte cup, i understand you guys are busy, but the reason i go to campos is because campos makes coffee properly.

however, 15 mins wait for a coffee, the explanation : because it's a seat down coffees and there is couple of 'take away' customers..and that is their system. apology accepted!!!but i ordered my coffee before anyone of them... and you have two 3 group la mazicco coffee machine, 4staffbehind the bar, two was posing...and you tell me it's campos' system.?

rude manager, when i order my coffee he was posing and the first thing that he asked after i cancelled the flat white in the latte glass...was an arrogant look with " what is your problem, mate?"
to be honest, 15 mins for a coffee and flat white in a latte glass?? you can do better than that.... plus your attitude, i rather go to brewtown for a nice coffee !!!

great coffee! i reckon it's by far one of the best coffee i've had in sydney. small shop with limited seating. their iced coffee served with ice cream and affogato is pretty good.staffare very friendly.

the best coffee, it's just right, not too milky and reasonably strong. always a buzzing atmosphere. staffvery friendly and look very smart in their uniforms.

since i was in newtown i dropped by to order my favourite coffee brand 'campos' they have never disappoint me yet! maybe because the intense training and standards they have are really strict.i heard that if the coffee isn't up to their standards the company will shutdown the operations! also there's the method and stance that they need to do to make their coffee. this café is small but the service speed and customer service are great,staffalways smile and greets you. =dthis is why campos coffee are always the same and good, shame i don't have one locally but when i'm close by i get one! usually i love campos and toby estate otherwise ill drink tea. until next time ..... keep eating??? i mean drinking! lol

the best coffee in sydney.. prepare to be disappointed. after you've been to campos newtown, every time you have coffee anywhere else you'll be unhappy because nobody else does it like campos does.

it's small and cramped and honestly, with the amount of money they must be making, they ought to get a larger space. i've seen people go elsewhere due to being physically unable to get inside, and surely when you're #1 you can stop it with the cutesy "undiscovered" rubbish?

but the pastries are excellent, thestaffare friendly and the coffee is the best. period.

best coffee. hi the mask foodbandit here, guys i'm on the road a lot and i visit a lot of cafes and campos has to be one of my top cafes , you walk in an the aroma of the coffee is unbelievable great atmosphere, thestaffare very friendly considering how busy they are and people will wait , there pastrys are fresh, inviting and have a great variety , the music in the background was funky. out of 5 ill give a 4.5 excellent .

up through a short flight of stairs, the first thing to hit you is the purposeful noise and bustle of a busy and successful café. from the moment you enter, you can sense that thestafftakes coffee seriously and you are guaranteed a great coffee.

i love the coffee here and that the regularstaffremember me, but i use the beat the q app otherwise the wait is awful especially in such a small space.

loose the 'tude. nice coffee but last time i was there, thestaffwere rude. plus the wait time is crazy. there are plenty of places in newtown where you can get a beautiful cup of coffee without the attitude
