anthony's restaurant and fish bar

i see a lot of bad reviews pertaining to the fastfoodfish bar. keep in mind even though it's the same company the menu/quality are completely different. you can sit at the bar and enjoy some of the best seafood the pacific northwest has to offer at anthony's. it's a little bit pricier than the stand alone restaurants and the menu is somewhat condensed but all and all i've eaten here what seems like hundreds of times and can't ever recall being disappointed. this is by far the best sit down option in seatac. all of the other restaurants are pretty terrible in comparison.

i am tempted to say this is the best fish and chips i have had in a long time. certainly the bestfoodin any airport i have encountered.foodcame fast and the fish and chips was amazing. i felt the beer andfoodhad a soothing effect for having to endure traveling with the common folk and riff raff.

4/5 pretty good prices for the airport. the night view from the super tall ceiling to ground windows are impeccable . watch airplanes take off and come home. clam chowder [tasty!] salmon fish and chips [super tasty! the fries were awesome] some kind of salad, it was meh. comparably more healthy and less delicious. we waited for ages for thefoodto come which was a nuisance.  there's actually a fish and chips bar on the right of the entrance of the restaurant. i think it's a little cheaper.  overall it was pretty great dinner at the airport. i enjoyed it. angel

now this is airport food!. as the table next to me was leaving one said "that's the best airportfoodi've ever had!" i agreed as soon as mine was done. it started out with slow service and i saw two other tables anxious for their bill, but i had at least an hour to kill. the chowder bread bowl and caesar salad was the perfect simple ending to a long day. there was the usual great variety i know to expect from anthony's but i didn't indulge this time. the chowder tasted freshmade, not reconstituted like you find at an ivar's walk-up bar. the restaurant is bigger than it looks from the entry. a seat along the glass wall at the back is quiet and unique, i haven't seen this in other airport restaurants. highly recommended!

hostile hostess. anthony's at sea tac is typically one of my favorite places to eat but today the hostess was so rude to the couple in front of me and so extremely unfriendly to me i chose to eat elsewhere. restaurants really need to think about who they have making first impressions with their customers. theirfoodis excellent but i have little patience for poor service.

awesome. this is the best restaurant in an airport i have ever encountered. thefoodis just superb, good selection of wines and the staff is (usually) attentive and friendly. when i fly to seattle it is always as stop over to or from the san juan islands and i always schedule my flights so i can eat at anthony's. i love the cioppino!
my only gripe is that i wish they would carry gluten free bread. since they don't i try to remember to take my own!

this is maybe the best restaurant in any airport that i have found. thefoodis has always been superb. the seasonal specials have always been a great choice. if you want fresh halibut without going to alaska, this is your place.

with a prime location at the airport i would think someone would care about quality and choice a bit more. over the years this place has not improved, i sit in front of a cold omlet carelesly thrown together and a muffin that's hard as a brick. along side is a cake like muffin that seems to be made right out of a box from costco. believe me i knowfoodand what i have found here deserves to be better.

not good compared to ivar's which is about 50 m away. if i were you i'd just hop over to ivar's. when i was at the airport, i was puzzled by these two competing fish bars so i actually went to both and ordered the same thing. ivar's is much better with the clam chowder and the fish actually tasted better. the batter at ivar's is not the same as anthony's but it is still better. anthony's batter is the kind where it separates from the fish very easily and you can just eat the batter and the fish separately whereas ivar's batter is more attached to the fish and is more rough in nature. this is still not a bad place considering seattle has some awesome fish and chips compared to where i'm from, but i'd just go to ivar's if you don't mind the fastfoodexperience. the anthony's i went to was also the take-out section so i'm comparing like-to-like.

have been going to anthony's for years sea-tac is the worst!!! slow i meen slow and coldfoodnot worth the money should have went to wendys.

slow service, awful food. on our last trip out of sea-tac, we took a 8:30 flight. we left our house without eating breakfast thinking we can get a decent (our expectation is generally not that high) breakfast at the airport. anthony's, being in the main section of the airport was our obvious choice with two hungry kids. we ordered scrambled egg with bacon, which from our seats we can see stacked pre-cocked. scrambled egg have a distinct flavor, which our kids (generally good eaters in a restaurant) refused to eat, saying this egg smells funny. as it turned out, the egg they use for scrambled egg has garlic (and cheese) premixed. even for me, the egg taste with a strong garlic flavor. we are disappointed with the food. also, service was quite slow. i had to ask a refill of coffee. no update for the food. it took almost 30 min. beforefoodwas served (we were seated at 7:00am andfoodarrived almost at 7:30am). we basically ate half of thefood(luckily, our kids did not want to finish food!) and had to leave for the gate. don't go there if we only have one hour before the flight. this is actually 2nd time i experienced slow service there (first time was for lunch). they seem to think that people who dine in a restaurant at an airport must have incredibly ample time to kill...

let's not get into a panic people, this is a great seafood place operated in a very busy airport. that said, thefoodis really good and the service is 90% of the time good as well especially at the bar. the mahi mahi tacos are a great deal to fill up before a flight. just keep in mind that you have a bunch of hms union cooks preparing the food, not anthinys typical staff in their restaurants

while getting ready to order at one of the seatac pubs the waiter (for some unknown reason) mentioned that anthony's has the bestfoodin the airport. i thanked him and came to anthony's. he is correct. great menu, decent wine list,good price for an airport. try the alaska cod stuffed with crab, shrimp and artichoke-very nicely done. o will come back every time i fly through here.

mrs.. i just wanted to send you a positive on our wait staff. her name was amber. i asked her to wrap up the leftover bread we ordered. upon arriving home at a very late hour and very hungry with nofoodin the house, we opened the bag to make some toast. not only was the bread in there but she took the time to add some butter in small plastic containers. thank you amber, it was very much appreciated and i hope someone passes this on to you.
