"seattle is known for fresh seafood, pan-asian and northwest fare, stunning water, city views and friendly neighborhood hospitality." - nwsource.com i've eaten almost seafood everyday during my visit to seattle - from sauteed manila clams and mussels at salty's to a seafood brunch at the lobster shop south. it was my last day in seattle, and i was strolling through sea-tac airport. i came across a seafood spot called " anthony's restaurant ." the menu featured fish tacos, salad with shrimp and fish n' chips. there were three types of fish 'n' chips - salmon, cod, and halibut - reasonably priced - from $6.99 to $9.99. i never had fried salmon, so i went for that. amazing! i was served 3 pieces of salmon fried in tempura batter resting on a bed of chips. the tempura batter was excellent - not too "doughy" not too oily. makes me want to try frying salmon at home. posted by denise at 11:56 email this

nice place. waiter- excellent, food great- fresh- tasty- eye appealing, what more could you ask for.

i had the halibut fish and chips for lunch here. it was very expensive—close to $40 with a coke. the fish and chips were disappointing. i hoped that the tempura coating would be light and crispy. no such luck. the coating was doughy and soggy. yuck.

we shared an appetizer of the pan fried oysters, which were creamy and lightly fried in a tempura like batter. we also shared a bowl of clam chowder that had surprising bits of real bacon in it with red skin potatoes.

seafood... need i say anymore? i will, so first the downside it's in an airport, so it is expensive. now the upside, it's seafood. setting at the bar, service was quick and staff very friendly. the clam chowder was great as was the deep fried oysters. it's worth the stop, it's good seafood stop and try it.

for an airport restaurant,i think anthony,s does an outstanding job, the fish was cooked perfect, flavorful, fast service,nice pleasant setting we were stuck at sea tac for 4 hours it was great to be able to have a great meal and couple of drinks.

for an airport restaurant, anthony's does a great job. we had the salmon tacos and the halibut tacos. on both the fish had a nice fresh taste and was the star of the taco. we asked for both to be without the blackened seasoning and voila, just as we asked and very tasty.

i see a lot of bad reviews pertaining to the fast food fish bar. keep in mind even though it's the same company the menu/quality are completely different. you can sit at the bar and enjoy some of the best seafood the pacific northwest has to offer at anthony's. it's a little bit pricier than the stand alone restaurants and the menu is somewhat condensed but all and all i've eaten here what seems like hundreds of times and can't ever recall being disappointed. this is by far the best sit down option in seatac. all of the other restaurants are pretty terrible in comparison.

after a long flight, and not having breakfast or lunch, we were very hungry and saw this establishment in sea-tac.  we were really excited to give it a try, and ordered their salmon taco special they were having.  it was $9.99+ tax and it came with clam chowder, chips, and salsa.  the salmon was grilled, but had no flavor, especially against the large amount of coleslaw.  the clam chowder was my favorite part of everything, but it still tasted like it came from a can...  the salsa tasted like it was from a jar, and the chips were very, very stale.  at least i had good company with me!

it's in an airport, so expectations aren't high. you figure if anthony's is going to put their name on it, it should be good, right? wrong! overwhelmed on a normal weeknight, the staff was working hard. the clam chowder arrived and i think the cream broke, there were little white dots in it and is had a slightly sour taste...fine wa wine was served at $11+ per glass, in a highball glass because the wine glasses were dirty. the fish tacos are bland, and the corn tortillas i asked for were dried out and crumbly...a terrible experience i won't repeat.

i am tempted to say this is the best fish and chips i have had in a long time. certainly the best food in any airport i have encountered. food came fast and the fish and chips was amazing. i felt the beer and food had a soothing effect for having to endure traveling with the common folk and riff raff.

greasy fish and chips at seatac airport. the french fries were ok but the fish was so greasy and disgusting that we sent it back to the kitchen. the replacement porion was almost as bad so we gave up and had to remove the greasy coating and wipe the fish off with a napkin. since we had reviously enjoyed the seafood at other anthony's locations, i asked whether the airport location was managed by anthonys or a franchisee. as i suspected, the airport location is operated bh hmshost.

poor service. we spent a lot of money and our server was terrible. forgot things,was inattentive and none of our table was cleared until we had to ask for our check. very disappointing
