"seattle is known for fresh seafood, pan-asian and northwest fare, stunning water, city views and friendly neighborhood hospitality." - nwsource.com i've eaten almost seafood everyday during my visit to seattle - from sauteed manila clams and mussels at salty's to a seafood brunch at the lobster shop south. it was my last day in seattle, and i was strolling through sea-tac airport. i came across a seafood spot called " anthony's restaurant ." the menu featuredfishtacos, salad with shrimp andfishn' chips. there were three types offish'n' chips - salmon, cod, and halibut - reasonably priced - from $6.99 to $9.99. i never had fried salmon, so i went for that. amazing! i was served 3 pieces of salmon fried in tempura batter resting on a bed of chips. the tempura batter was excellent - not too "doughy" not too oily. makes me want to try frying salmon at home. posted by denise at 11:56 email this

i had the halibutfishand chips for lunch here. it was very expensive—close to $40 with a coke. thefishand chips were disappointing. i hoped that the tempura coating would be light and crispy. no such luck. the coating was doughy and soggy. yuck.

for an airport restaurant,i think anthony,s does an outstanding job, thefishwas cooked perfect, flavorful, fast service,nice pleasant setting we were stuck at sea tac for 4 hours it was great to be able to have a great meal and couple of drinks.

for an airport restaurant, anthony's does a great job. we had the salmon tacos and the halibut tacos. on both thefishhad a nice fresh taste and was the star of the taco. we asked for both to be without the blackened seasoning and voila, just as we asked and very tasty.

i see a lot of bad reviews pertaining to the fast foodfishbar. keep in mind even though it's the same company the menu/quality are completely different. you can sit at the bar and enjoy some of the best seafood the pacific northwest has to offer at anthony's. it's a little bit pricier than the stand alone restaurants and the menu is somewhat condensed but all and all i've eaten here what seems like hundreds of times and can't ever recall being disappointed. this is by far the best sit down option in seatac. all of the other restaurants are pretty terrible in comparison.

anthony's at the sea-tac airport. i had codfishand chips. the ginger slaw was great. thefishwas tasty, though a bit soggy in spots. fries were average.

it's in an airport, so expectations aren't high. you figure if anthony's is going to put their name on it, it should be good, right? wrong! overwhelmed on a normal weeknight, the staff was working hard. the clam chowder arrived and i think the cream broke, there were little white dots in it and is had a slightly sour taste...fine wa wine was served at $11+ per glass, in a highball glass because the wine glasses were dirty. thefishtacos are bland, and the corn tortillas i asked for were dried out and crumbly...a terrible experience i won't repeat.

i am tempted to say this is the bestfishand chips i have had in a long time. certainly the best food in any airport i have encountered. food came fast and thefishand chips was amazing. i felt the beer and food had a soothing effect for having to endure traveling with the common folk and riff raff.

greasyfishand chips at seatac airport. the french fries were ok but thefishwas so greasy and disgusting that we sent it back to the kitchen. the replacement porion was almost as bad so we gave up and had to remove the greasy coating and wipe thefishoff with a napkin. since we had reviously enjoyed the seafood at other anthony's locations, i asked whether the airport location was managed by anthonys or a franchisee. as i suspected, the airport location is operated bh hmshost.

4/5 pretty good prices for the airport. the night view from the super tall ceiling to ground windows are impeccable . watch airplanes take off and come home. clam chowder [tasty!] salmonfishand chips [super tasty! the fries were awesome] some kind of salad, it was meh. comparably more healthy and less delicious. we waited for ages for the food to come which was a nuisance.  there's actually afishand chips bar on the right of the entrance of the restaurant. i think it's a little cheaper.  overall it was pretty great dinner at the airport. i enjoyed it. angel

anthony's occupies a large chunk of real estate and it seemed just about every table was taken, both in the dine-in restaurant as well as in thefishbar area. rockfish taco.   i haven't been too enamored

not good compared to ivar's which is about 50 m away. if i were you i'd just hop over to ivar's. when i was at the airport, i was puzzled by these two competingfishbars so i actually went to both and ordered the same thing. ivar's is much better with the clam chowder and thefishactually tasted better. the batter at ivar's is not the same as anthony's but it is still better. anthony's batter is the kind where it separates from thefishvery easily and you can just eat the batter and thefishseparately whereas ivar's batter is more attached to thefishand is more rough in nature. this is still not a bad place considering seattle has some awesomefishand chips compared to where i'm from, but i'd just go to ivar's if you don't mind the fast food experience. the anthony's i went to was also the take-out section so i'm comparing like-to-like.

not bad awful!. thefishtacos were so bad they were inedible! i had my hopes set for something especially tasty, knowing anthonys reputation. instead the dish was i mushy undercooked wet mess, that was void of flavor! the handful of stale chips as a side dish made me literally laugh! save your money! skip anthonys!

customer and frequent traveler. i have eaten at anthony's for over 30 years. i was recently very disturbed that 3 very small pieces offishand chips constituted a $20.00 price tag. the lettuce was also wilted in my cold slaw and the management told me that the restaurant service manager was unavailable (it was 3:30 p.m.) and that "nobody on site was responsible for portioning". in addition, i was told that there was no customer satisfaction card available to submit comments.
frankly, i expect more from a meal of this price.

fresh and fast. i fly through seatac regularly, and always try to leave 30 minutes for thefishtacos at anthony's . fresh, light and delicious. that said, i really don't like the chowder - very heavy flour thickened sauce and tasteless rubbery fish. it's amazing these come from the same kitchen.
good selection of beers and, with the exception of one recent visit, service is quick and efficient - just what you need before your next flight.
