anthony's restaurant and fish bar

for anairportrestaurant,i think anthony,s does an outstanding job, the fish was cooked perfect, flavorful, fast service,nice pleasant setting we were stuck at sea tac for 4 hours it was great to be able to have a great meal and couple of drinks.

for anairportrestaurant, anthony's does a great job. we had the salmon tacos and the halibut tacos. on both the fish had a nice fresh taste and was the star of the taco. we asked for both to be without the blackened seasoning and voila, just as we asked and very tasty.

i am tempted to say this is the best fish and chips i have had in a long time. certainly the best food in anyairporti have encountered. food came fast and the fish and chips was amazing. i felt the beer and food had a soothing effect for having to endure traveling with the common folk and riff raff.

greasy fish and chips at seatac airport. the french fries were ok but the fish was so greasy and disgusting that we sent it back to the kitchen. the replacement porion was almost as bad so we gave up and had to remove the greasy coating and wipe the fish off with a napkin. since we had reviously enjoyed the seafood at other anthony's locations, i asked whether theairportlocation was managed by anthonys or a franchisee. as i suspected, theairportlocation is operated bh hmshost.

not worth price. if all you want to do do is drink before your flight this is the place ok.......i had a gift card for anthonys as a gift
so i used at theairporti waited for a long time for my meal it toke" 20mins to check the card by th manager"
and when i got my order the quanity was small for the price good but not enough and never got my gift card back
with 12 dollars remaining on it.........................darrell

now this isairportfood!. as the table next to me was leaving one said "that's the bestairportfood i've ever had!" i agreed as soon as mine was done. it started out with slow service and i saw two other tables anxious for their bill, but i had at least an hour to kill. the chowder bread bowl and caesar salad was the perfect simple ending to a long day. there was the usual great variety i know to expect from anthony's but i didn't indulge this time. the chowder tasted freshmade, not reconstituted like you find at an ivar's walk-up bar. the restaurant is bigger than it looks from the entry. a seat along the glass wall at the back is quiet and unique, i haven't seen this in otherairportrestaurants. highly recommended!

awesome. this is the best restaurant in anairporti have ever encountered. the food is just superb, good selection of wines and the staff is (usually) attentive and friendly. when i fly to seattle it is always as stop over to or from the san juan islands and i always schedule my flights so i can eat at anthony's. i love the cioppino!
my only gripe is that i wish they would carry gluten free bread. since they don't i try to remember to take my own!

anthony's seatac is wonderful. bestairportrestaurant, 5 star coffee (wish i could order some), hot-fresh sourdough bread, chef's clam chowder, gourmet sea dishes and the best oysters outside of elliott's on the pier.
i plan a long layover for seattle flights in order to experience anthony's.
they don't mind if i take up a table for an hour and keep on ordering : )
if you are in a rush, let your host-waiter know and they'll accommodate- though i'd rather savor the fine fare.

this is maybe the best restaurant in anyairportthat i have found. the food is has always been superb. the seasonal specials have always been a great choice. if you want fresh halibut without going to alaska, this is your place.

this is "airport food"?!. great, fast, fresh seafood delivered by servers that seem to be delighted to be there. you can't ask for more. the fact that this exists in anairportjust blows me away. the extensive local beer and wine menu is another huge upside. i sat at the bar by the open kitchen, right next to the expediter's station so i got a free show and a bit of an education along with my tempura prawns!

with a prime location at theairporti would think someone would care about quality and choice a bit more. over the years this place has not improved, i sit in front of a cold omlet carelesly thrown together and a muffin that's hard as a brick. along side is a cake like muffin that seems to be made right out of a box from costco. believe me i know food and what i have found here deserves to be better.

niceairportalternative. we ate here at around 9:30 pm in the bar. i thought the service was a tad slow but not bad. i don't think this is a good choice if you are in a rush but we had an hour and a half to kill. we had tempura prawns and garlic prawns. the garlic prawns were excellent but the tempura prawns were a on the heavy breaded greasy side but good enough forairportfood. i found the ambiance in the bar to be very pleasant and enjoyed our microbrews. we also enjoyed the special huckleberry desserts that were offered which were quite a treat for anairportmeal.

slow service, awful food. on our last trip out of sea-tac, we took a 8:30 flight. we left our house without eating breakfast thinking we can get a decent (our expectation is generally not that high) breakfast at the airport. anthony's, being in the main section of theairportwas our obvious choice with two hungry kids. we ordered scrambled egg with bacon, which from our seats we can see stacked pre-cocked. scrambled egg have a distinct flavor, which our kids (generally good eaters in a restaurant) refused to eat, saying this egg smells funny. as it turned out, the egg they use for scrambled egg has garlic (and cheese) premixed. even for me, the egg taste with a strong garlic flavor. we are disappointed with the food. also, service was quite slow. i had to ask a refill of coffee. no update for the food. it took almost 30 min. before food was served (we were seated at 7:00am and food arrived almost at 7:30am). we basically ate half of the food (luckily, our kids did not want to finish food!) and had to leave for the gate. don't go there if we only have one hour before the flight. this is actually 2nd time i experienced slow service there (first time was for lunch). they seem to think that people who dine in a restaurant at anairportmust have incredibly ample time to kill...

anthony's restaurant. i've flown out of sea-tac many times, and eat at anthony's whenever i can. i love to sit at the bar, their fish and chips are very good, well presented and the service has always been good. not your typicalairportfood, at all.
