anthony's restaurant and fish bar

not good compared to ivar's which is about 50 m away. if i were you i'd just hop over to ivar's. when i was at the airport, i was puzzled by these two competing fish bars so i actually went to both and ordered the same thing. ivar's is much better with the clam chowder and the fish actually tasted better. the batter at ivar's is not the same as anthony's but it is still better. anthony's batter is the kind where it separates from the fish very easily and you can just eat the batter and the fish separately whereas ivar's batter is more attached to the fish and is more rough in nature. this is still not a bad place considering seattle has some awesome fish and chips compared to where i'm from, but i'd just go to ivar's if you don't mind the fast food experience. the anthony's i went to was also the take-out section so i'm comparing like-to-like.

have been going to anthony's for years sea-tac is the worst!!! slow i meen slow and cold food not worth the money should have went to wendys.

nice airport alternative. we ate here at around 9:30 pm in the bar. i thought the service was a tad slow but not bad. i don't think this is a good choice if you are in a rush but we had an hour and a half to kill. we had tempura prawns and garlic prawns. the garlic prawns were excellent but the tempura prawns were a on the heavy breaded greasy side but good enough for airport food. i found the ambiance in the bar to be very pleasant and enjoyed our microbrews. we also enjoyed the special huckleberry desserts that were offered which were quite a treat for an airport meal.

slow service, awful food. on our last trip out of sea-tac, we took a 8:30 flight. we left our house without eating breakfast thinking we can get a decent (our expectation is generally not that high) breakfast at the airport. anthony's, being in the main section of the airport was our obvious choice with two hungry kids. we ordered scrambled egg with bacon, which from our seats we can see stacked pre-cocked. scrambled egg have a distinct flavor, which our kids (generally good eaters in a restaurant) refused to eat, saying this egg smells funny. as it turned out, the egg they use for scrambled egg has garlic (and cheese) premixed. even for me, the egg taste with a strong garlic flavor. we are disappointed with the food. also, service was quite slow. i had to ask a refill of coffee. no update for the food. it took almost 30 min. before food was served (we were seated at 7:00am and food arrived almost at 7:30am). we basically ate half of the food (luckily, our kids did not want to finish food!) and had to leave for the gate. don't go there if we only have one hour before the flight. this is actually 2nd time i experienced slow service there (first time was for lunch). they seem to think that people who dine in a restaurant at an airport must have incredibly ample time to kill...

not bad awful!. the fish tacos were so bad they were inedible! i had my hopes set for something especially tasty, knowing anthonys reputation. instead the dish was i mushy undercooked wet mess, that was void of flavor! the handful of stale chips as a side dish made me literally laugh! save your money! skip anthonys!

average food; below average service; bad music. about what i expect for an airport restaurant.

impressive breakfast tacos. breakfast tacos had great taste, blueberry coffee cake was a nice bonus...very impressive all the way around. two breakfast tacos will fill you up!

let's not get into a panic people, this is a great seafood place operated in a very busy airport. that said, the food is really good and the service is 90% of the time good as well especially at the bar. the mahi mahi tacos are a great deal to fill up before a flight. just keep in mind that you have a bunch of hms union cooks preparing the food, not anthinys typical staff in their restaurants

house special chowder is a white paste style but the ingredients tasted fresh (including fresh sand and grit?) not sure my teeth want it again

customer and frequent traveler. i have eaten at anthony's for over 30 years. i was recently very disturbed that 3 very small pieces of fish and chips constituted a $20.00 price tag. the lettuce was also wilted in my cold slaw and the management told me that the restaurant service manager was unavailable (it was 3:30 p.m.) and that "nobody on site was responsible for portioning". in addition, i was told that there was no customer satisfaction card available to submit comments.
frankly, i expect more from a meal of this price.

fresh and fast. i fly through seatac regularly, and always try to leave 30 minutes for the fish tacos at anthony's . fresh, light and delicious. that said, i really don't like the chowder - very heavy flour thickened sauce and tasteless rubbery fish. it's amazing these come from the same kitchen.
good selection of beers and, with the exception of one recent visit, service is quick and efficient - just what you need before your next flight.

anthony's restaurant. i've flown out of sea-tac many times, and eat at anthony's whenever i can. i love to sit at the bar, their fish and chips are very good, well presented and the service has always been good. not your typical airport food, at all.

the alaska trolled fish and chipa is best i have had. dont miss it. dont forget to taste chowder.

while getting ready to order at one of the seatac pubs the waiter (for some unknown reason) mentioned that anthony's has the best food in the airport. i thanked him and came to anthony's. he is correct. great menu, decent wine list,good price for an airport. try the alaska cod stuffed with crab, shrimp and artichoke-very nicely done. o will come back every time i fly through here.

what's happened. i've been a frequent diner at anthony's seatac since it opened and once sought out the manager to tell him what a great job his team was doing. my latest visit was for dinner, november 18. i ordered one of my favorites "tempura shrimp". after an exceptionally long wait i got back heavily battered, deep fried shrimp and onion rings of a quality that you might encounter at a small town drive-in. please hire a new manager and kitchen superintendent and bring back quality preparations.
