poor service, poor food. my server blew. he couldn't keep our waters full and failed to remember margarita orders. food took a ridiculously long time to come out. wasn't impressed. chicken was overcooked and tortillas weren't completely cooked.

disappointed. really bummed this place didn't work out. i came on a saturday night with my sister. first probelm--not only were we seated in the most awkard of places but how to table was arranged for two people had me on top of a werid piece of art. our waitress was okay but kept forgetting what we ordered and said the system was down and this was the reason why our drinks hadn't come out yet. when i got my food, it wasn't what i ordered and was too hungry to agrue and send it back. last thing-- my bill was $55 dollars. this came from two domestic beers and two orders of chicken tacos (that were small and not special). rip off and will not be going back.

this place should be kicked out of san antonio for its sad excuse for guacamole and queso. the queso was just melted velveta with no spice or anything and they went cheap on the guac by mixing in a copious amount of sour cream or some other filler. the chips are the thick kind, which some may like, but i prefer thin and crispy. we also tried several margaritas, all of which were weak and overpriced. the service at the bar was terrible. at 4 o'clock on a saturday my 2 friends and i were literally the only people at the bar for the 5 bartenders and barbacks to take care of but we had to call them over every time we needed another round. they acted like we were interrupting their personal conversation. there's way too many good mexican restaurants in this town to ever go back here.

cuisine is a stretch. great view, but that's the best thing about this place. service was fine. tortillas were tough and overcooked. food overall wasn't bad, but the portions are kinda small. the beef fajitas melted in your mouth, very soft, but the flavor wasn't fantastico or anything. basically, this place is meh....for the money there are better places.

the salsa was tasty and the service was good. i was really turned off that such an attractive location with a fun decor would put an area to sell jewelry front and center. it ruined the ambience. the meal was mediocre at best. probably won't return because i don't want the ugly mannequin in the jewelry section ruining my appetite.

love it!. always awesome food and drinks. the pablano a la cilantro is my choice dish! the tres marias salad is absolutely awesome and the margaritas are amazing.

terrible food!. the service (what's that) is horrible!!!! it was at lunch with just a few tables. the tortillas were black & burnt, called for the manager he left while explaining the problems. didn't bother to correct the bill. don't waste your time or money. they do have the atmosphere, that is all!!!!!! the aldacos downwtown has better food and service!

used to like it, its gone down hill. blanca used to make such good food, but its quality has gone down. i have been a fan of aldacos sine it was downtown, but i have seen the quality of the food diminish with time. thought i'd give it one more try and had the shrimp enchiladas, very bad..frozen popcorn shrimp in a mushy tortilla..we were entertaining 4 guests from out of town and no one had anything good to say about the food. everyone comment was "it was ok"...at those prices it needs to be better than ok. come on blanca fix this.

the best of the best. the only place in town to get a great margarita - and believe me - i've tried many! the food is fantastic. many of the food items you just can't find anywhere else in town. the centerpiece is a must-try. fresh and delicious! come for the food and enjoy the great staff and fantastic views!

first and last visit. first, being labeled vegan friendly is a joke. the service and atmosphere certainly were nice. however, when someone at my table orders tilapia, and get a piece of fish that smells like it's never been fresh, then maybe it was just a mistake. it was sent back and the next piece was exactally the same, reaking of that old fishy smell. first time i went here, and certainly the last time.

great food, service and ambiance!. simply put - if you don't like aldaco's then you have issues. the service was fantastic!!! the food was delicious and very reasonable. the patio seating was a gift from god that was meant to be shared by all. thank you to everyone on staff at aldaco's and i will be recommending this place to all my family and friends!!!! bravo to you!

if you want to go sit on a great patio and drink mediocre margaritas, this place is awesome! but that is all that is worth mentioning.
