always a great experience and our favorite is enjoyingmargaritason the patio in the evening. they have great staff and the table side guacamole is a must have. the only downside that they changed their chips to an inferior brand. they don't taste like real corn tortillas.

a great patio and food!. for anyone looking for good mexican food and a great patio......aldacos stone oak is the place to go. the owners are wonderful people and the service is great. i have my favorites but the centerpiece is fantastic!margaritasof any kind are good here. love it!

on wed jan 22nd ordered a tres leeches cake & made dinner reservations for my wife's birthday friday night. the cake was a surprise for desert & to take home for weekend company. when arriving for the reservation, the host asked my wife, "are you here to pick up your cake?" what an idiot. i told him yes later after dinner, since the surprise part was over. dinner was very tex - mex
average. hoped to receive chicken monterrey. a roasted chicken breast smothered in jack cheese peppers, tomatoes, & avacodoes. instead sysco
processed chicken fillets with no flavor and watery cheese over the top. very disappointing. also a large table in the corner with at least six children screaming, running, and yelling toddlers whos parents undoubtably thought they were cute, as they disrupted everyone else's
dinners. .
at least our waiter was good &margaritaswere good.

excellent food (selection and quality). great patio view too; chips and roasted garlic salsa is possibly the best in the city; staff provides great service; the owner, blanca aldaco, is usually on-site, greeting the customers and making sure that everyone has a great dining experience; bar service is great... they make "world class"margaritasand bloody mary's; like la fonda, mi tierra, los barrios, casa rio and jacala, aldaco's is a great "destination" mexican restaurant. it is definitely worth driving a few extra miles to the far northside of town for the experience. reasonably priced too! enjoy!

love it!. always awesome food and drinks. the pablano a la cilantro is my choice dish! the tres marias salad is absolutely awesome and themargaritasare amazing.

best margaritas. hands down the bestmargaritasin town. consistent food, great views, attentive staff. the bar is top flight on every occasion. truly one of the great mexican food places in town.

love love love aldacos. food is great, drinks are great, atmosphere and view-great! blanca aldaco is a gem. there's nothing like their jalapenomargaritasand the tres leche. one of my favorite spots for happy hour.

we arrived here with great expectations but were ultimately disappointed. the food is pricey but i found the dishes overwrought. there wasn't any subtlely. the dishes titular item was the only taste i could really discern as it tended to completely overwhelm all else. the chicken was dry and chewy. themargaritaswere tasty but not $12 tasty. the service was mediocre and the hostess seemed bored or irritated with our arrival. overall quite a disappointment at this price point.

aldaco's stone oak - wonderful!!. aldaco's at stone oak is a great restaurant, one of the best in san antonio and perfect for us to bring the kids up to! the view is outstanding and the environment,margaritasand micheladas, and location are much more pleasant on top of the hill rather than down in sunset station. apparently this travis waiter is the go to guy, so next time ill be sure to ask for him to make it even more outstanding.

nice patio but terrible food. patio is great,margaritaswere great (pricey at $11 each), service was very good, but food was not good at all. we have been fans of sunset station aldaco's, and the food here was not good at all. usually great salsa was not balanced or seasoned at all, and chile relleno tasted like spam was inside. even quesadillas were strange.

i get hungry just thinking about it.... the restaurant itself and the view are really nice. the drinks are great, usuallymargaritasor micheladas for me.

my favorite things on the menu: al pastor tacos, enchiladas verdes, chile relleno al cilantro.

you won't be disappointed!
