this was my 2nd time going to this beautiful place, we went there on sunday 23rd of june. i first went there 3 years ago and it was one of the best experience ever, but not the same this time around. they have a menu on display on the zomato app and i wanted to confirm if they’ll serve the same thing or there will be changes. they said it will be the same, but when we reached there we saw a different menu on display, but anyway we were fine with it. what was wrong with the experience was the food itself, it didn’t feel fresh and all 5 of us felt the discomfort later. it made us assume there was excessive use of soda, we felt thirsty until next morning which never happened at other places. they didn’t serve aam ras which was on the menu, they did not have fulka rotis which is weird. considering that they charge alot for the thali a simple thing like a fulka roti should always be there on the menu, it is literally the most basic and important part of the thali. we are from mumbai so spending up to 1000-1500 per person is no new thing for us, but we’d suggest and appreciate if they took this into consideration and not take it as a complaint. they said there’s rajbhog for icecream and served mango, they didn’t serve fulkas as it wasn’t on their menu, they didn’t serve aam ras which was on the menu, the veggies had excessive use of coconut in it and the khichdi felt reheated and the rice was too mashed. really sorry to say it was a struggle to even try and finish the varities on the menu on the first serving. i’ve felt the inferiority ofqualitybefore at the green house as well but assumed it can happen some time but now that i felt that again it’s a shame that i had to doubt thequalityafter spending alot.
