one of the highly-rated places in ahmedabad. the ambience of thisplacewill surely make you fall in love. when it comes to food i would say they provide rich authentic food.

the price is a little high. i got it's a heritage site converted into a hotel and has a high maintenance cost. but, i think the amount they are charging for thali, there are limited choices of food options.

if you want to experience a heritageplacewith decent food then you must visit this place. plus, in the covid time, they do temperature checks, provide sanitizers and staff also wear masks which is really appreciated. would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

thisplaceneed no introduction. which one of the city's landmark place. this popular restaurant is located in old city.
so we went thisplaceto celebrate our first anniversary. i am happy to announce that thisplaceisremarkable in terms of food, food experience ,hospitality, the location everything was top-notch. however it is very heavy on pocket ,it's an experience and i can guarantee you will get authentic taste of gujarati dish over here.

they have multiple restaurant among them against aghashiye south unlimited gujarati thali. where the other restaurant greenhouse alacarte menu.

we opted for gujarati thali. in the appetizer we had fresh watermelon juice which was natural and having no added sugar. in the gujarati thali we have dhokli nu shaak, parval nu shaak, bataka ni sukhi bhaji, vedhmi,dahi vada, keri no ras, samosa, dhokla, kadhi ,bhat ,dal, chhas.

the samosa and dhokla were extraordinary good. keri no ras having no added artificial flavours or milk. my favourite dish was vedhmi ( also known as puranpoli) which was having fillng of anjeer.

overall i have satisfying experience of having gujarati thali with authentic taste.also note down there that every item has proper temperature to enjoy the meal. show the juice and buttermilk were cold but not chilled so they have maintain the tempreture very well so we can enjoy all the dishes..even in the dahi vada the curd was at proper temperature.

i will highly recommend this place....

bestplaceto visit for gujrati thali in ahmadabad. theplaceis royal that too with indian traditional theme which i loved the most.

being a hardcore non-vegetarian i really had second thoughts to visit thisplaceand spend a lot of money on a veg thali. but i convinced my self to see what it is that i’m spending 1800 bucks on.

1st convincing factor is the royal ambience, silver platters and the staff with warm smiles.

2nd convincing factor is the taste and quality of food. though a limited menu.., every thing served is at its best.

3rd factor is that the staff makes sure u taste everything and make sure u r overloaded.

no doubt spending so much on veg is still not convincing for a pure non veg lover, but it is surely something to be experienced.

not very happy.. 1st of all i made a reservation in advance still they made us sit and wait for 1 hr.. there were few houseflies roaming around the food.. taste of food was quite average and the worst aspect was service..they won't repeat sweets and farsan unless asked for 4-5 times..they kept on repeating rotis and subjis..finally i had to fight with staff to repeat sweets and farsan.. the only good thing was the ambience which was pleasing. overpricedplacewith average food and very bad service

we had dinner last night. i read such rave reviews about thisplaceand i was highly disappointed. they gave makkai rab instead of sherbet for dinner. there was nothing gujarati about this thali, so many vegetables available in winter and they were serving paneer, palak, potatoes and american corn with green pepper sabji. i have had better thalis on the highway. they had written dahi wada on the menu and served fried patra with bit of dahi and chutneys they keep on the table. bhakri was super hard and so was that paratha. methi wada wasn’t that great either. why are they not serving what’s in season and cooked the proper gujarati way?. a four star hotel restaurant serving such pathetic food, ruined our evening. the dhoklas, i almost forgot how terrible and half heartedly they prepared this staple snack. the dhokla were given tadka with just mustard seeds. couldn’t taste the hing, no chilies, coriander, sesame seeds or curry leaves. those masala bataka barely had any type of seasoning. please save your precious time and money. go to a local small business and get a thali. your taste buds will thank you.

earlier, we used to take guests here with lot of confidence, and never were disappointed. yesterday after a long time went to thisplaceagain and guess what??

the staff was not courteous. remember that most of the thali around the city are priced between 300-800 rs. so, if we are paying almost double than we except some class which wasn’t there anymore. all set up inside the small room so nothing looks gorgeous anymore.
food was okie. nothing great. only dhokla was there and we asked for refill and it took a longer time to come.

i love this building and the ambiance but would not want to go back again to agasiye as there are much friendlier places around ahmedabad.

i feel bad if i don't eat from thisplaceif i am in ahmedabad. i just had 30 mins to catch train and the order was delivered so swiftly. the food is to die for. gujarati's .. you better dont miss out on this. the boys who delivered this were so humble and considerate. 🥰✌️

thisplaceis like i can’t describe in words that much amazing in quality ambience and food but service issues may bit their thisplaceserve best gujarati authentic thaali must try this is one of best part of world heritage city ahmedabad 🔥

very poor and slow service although they took extra service charge.. not recommended for an authentic gujrati food.. according to food rate is too much higher... there are more authentic gujrati food restaurants better than this. onlyplaceis historical..

full marks to food, undoubtedly of very good quality (taste however is just above normal). however my average ratings are due to exorbitant pricing! for rs, 1395 for buffet dinner, it way way expensive! this price is just to much!!! the restaurant area is just normal and nothing extraordinary; its maintained in an old-fashioned way and that's what the usp is acclaimed. in my view, theplaceis just to be tried once and that's it!! i would suggest the hotel management to lower the prices, although not drastically and attract more food lovers!!

how has thisplacebecome ahmedabad’s premiere food spot? it was lousy. for the price of 4 gujarati thalis elsewhere, they serve you half the varieties. out of which, half the things are dumped on the table for you to help yourselves. the area where we sat was set up like an outdoor wedding tent in a party plot. the wait staff was infuriatingly slow and condescending; one manager actually said “the service is slow so you can savour the food,” when nothing had been served yet! he asked to savour the salad! the taste is painfully mediocre. the utensils are blackened and dirty. what an absolutely waste of money and a mealtime.
