one of the highly-rated places in ahmedabad. theambienceof this place will surely make you fall in love. when it comes to food i would say they provide rich authentic food.

the price is a little high. i got it's a heritage site converted into a hotel and has a high maintenance cost. but, i think the amount they are charging for thali, there are limited choices of food options.

if you want to experience a heritage place with decent food then you must visit this place. plus, in the covid time, they do temperature checks, provide sanitizers and staff also wear masks which is really appreciated. would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

agashiye is simply wonderful. i think anyone who comes to ahmedabad should go there at least once. the food was delicious and theambiencewas even better. 

the building itself is gorgeous and most things seem to be placed with thought, even the tiled floors are pretty.

the wait staff were sweet and engaging, they even indulged me in conversation about stoves and method of cooking.

the food is gujarati, and i liked it even though i normally don't. 
 i visited agashiye with friends that crossed multiple generations and lifestyles, everyone loved it.

if nothing else, agashiye is an experience, as i've mentioned before, is just wonderful.

not very happy.. 1st of all i made a reservation in advance still they made us sit and wait for 1 hr.. there were few houseflies roaming around the food.. taste of food was quite average and the worst aspect was service..they won't repeat sweets and farsan unless asked for 4-5 times..they kept on repeating rotis and subjis..finally i had to fight with staff to repeat sweets and farsan.. the only good thing was theambiencewhich was pleasing. overpriced place with average food and very bad service

this place is like i can’t describe in words that much amazing in qualityambienceand food but service issues may bit their this place serve best gujarati authentic thaali must try this is one of best part of world heritage city ahmedabad 🔥

one of the best heritage restaurant of ahmedabad where you can try authentic gujarati dish where excellent food quality delicious taste and yes courteous staff and also they brief you about food platter andambienceis also wow factor ! highly recommend and feel that vibes. go ahmedabadi go.

my sister suggested me this place and i went there without even looking it up or any expectations. and when i reached there, boy i was bowled over!

agashiye is situated in house of mg, which has a stay option for guests (starting at 4k per night) ahmedabad trunk - selling high end textiles and antiques and a high end fine dine gujarati thali restaurant agashiye, which means on the terrace.

theambienceis just awesome and breath taking.

they have two variants of the thali, kansa (less variety @ 1400 ₹ approx) and silver (more items @ 2000₹ approx)

i chose the less variety one and that too was too much for me.

welcome drink, salad, chhat, papd, achaar, chutneys, fasaan, sabji (3 varieties), dal, kadhi, coconut halwa, basundi, roti, paratha, rice and chaas and paan to end it all!

it's worth it if you have a huge appetite. 😝

the food was amazing and the service exemplary! definitely worth an experience!

had gone to this place in a social function in winter. the soothing and calm atmosphere made the evening very peaceful. the food was sent gujarati and perfect. however it was theambiencethat stole the show. a must place for taking people from outside state or city to show the authentic traditional and unique place to visit.

warmambiencewith authentic feel of a heritage place. food tastes good, provide authentic and unique food items too. first time ever i had black grape pickle. doodhi halwa and chaas were bliss too. the price is on higher end, you may want to go before 7 pm and after 10:30 pm to avail slightly lower price.

you cannot find any place better than this for a authentic gujarati thali . limited variety but undoubtedly one of the most fantastic and fresh food i ever had . bit on a higher side of cost but worth it . love theambienceof the place . don’t miss on its ice cream they serve in the end - their own production .

one of the best places that i have been not just in india but the world, theambienceis full of calm colours, the staff is very cordial and polite, the food is of the best quality and taste. recommended to every foodie out there if you haven't tried already

this place is totally worth the time and money we spent. they have a fixed menu that changes every day of the week. they only serve thali which includes drinks, salads, pickles, starters, vegetable dishes, lentils , desserts and paan. you can ask for refills as well. since i'm a vegan, i had to skip a number of dishes as they had curd or ghee in them but i still had enough option to fill my self with delicious food. staff andambienceis great too. they also served rice, khichdi and gluten free roti. this place is a must visit if you are in ahmedabad. if you reach there before noon for early lunch, you can grab a good discount. same applies for dinner before 7pm and after 10.30pm. #glutenfree #veganfood #vegansofindia

one of the highest rated place for gujarati food hence gave it a try. it has everything which would appeal an outsider! nestled in old building within a heritage hotel, it provides enough photo ops and that must be one of the highlight of the place. they have two options for gujarati thali and both are expensive for the food and variety they serve. service was good but i always like service at rajasthani restaurants a little more. all food was tasty, guava ice cream and basundi were excellent! you could only visit this place for those two dishes!! other food was good not much to write about.ambienceis great, staff is warm and place is historic! give it a try for your special occasions and guests! i am pretty sure you can get a better gujarati thali in ahmedabad but nevertheless worth a visit!
