not worth the wait.

it's got a standardtasteof karnataka. but the wait is too long. kudos to staff for managing it, hats off to the effort.

khara bhat was good and so was kesari bath. sambar was good. i did not like the chutney much.

in summary there was nothing that would make me stand in that queue again.

this place has a history and it is well known for its authentic masala dosa which is crispy and delicious. i visited it recently and was spellbound by its uniqueness.tastewas top notch as i have ordered two types of masala dosas. one was normal masala dosa and other was dosa filled with a different type of masala. and i ended my meal with coffee at the end
as it was a sunday it was jam packed. i recommend to people who are planning to go sundays pls go early and grab a place there.

hugely crowded place, but worth waiting for when you are gonna get totasteauthentic south indian food at affordable prices. thetasteis too good. i should say service is equally good, considering the crowd. have tummy full of food without burning a hole in the pocket. idly vada dipped in chutney is just heavenly feeling. their dosas are yumm. must try place.
only suggestion is they could improve on their cleanliness.

amazing 😍 place to treat yourtastebuds with authentic south indian food. place is very hygienic and staff is very well behaved and dressed neatly in traditional. there is enough place to sit, however if place is too crowded which is quite often, it hardly takes 15 mins to get the seat. i have had the softest idli in last 11 years in bangalore at this place, must try. masala dosa is nicely roasted in ghee and served with delicious coconut chutney. you can stop reading now and go give yourtastebuds a good treat. i hope you like the food as much as i did. enjoy !!

the crowd and attitude of staff doesn't justify going there.tasteof good isn't really great either. it is mostly the fame of olden days and hype that keeps this place cooking.

taste: average. dosa was crispy because they fried in lots of butter. however, tasteof any of the dishes weren't great be it dosa, puri, vada, or kesari bath. they pour chutney on dosa plate itself making the dosa soggy.
ambience: bad, too much crowd.
service: they have weird rules and they want people to sit and eat according to their rules.
price: average, rs 50 for masala dosa.

the authentictasteof south indian food which everyone should atleast give a try. a worth visiting place and totally worth the waiting time. this place is crowded most of the time and you will have to share table with others too. i guess our waiting time was approx 40mins, but that was worth. the flavour andtastecompleted mesmerized ourtastebuds.🥰

the place is a landmark by itself.

the crowd we saw on weekend was unbelievable and we had to wait for 1.5hrs for getting a seat.

the dosae here are lit but i am seeing thetasteto be not as good as it used to be. the vada we ordered was not crispy, not hot which is was surprising. the filter kaapi was horrible.

seems like it is losing its charm.

taste - 3.5/5 (dosae 5/5)
price - 4/5
service - 5/5
ambience - priceless

masala dosa from the legendary @vidyarthibhavan is one of best dosas u can have in bangalore.

crisp outside with a soft inside, the batter is perfectly made with the best of ingredients totastephenomenal when the dosa in poured on the hot tawa. not to forget their unique style of serving the dosa to form a tower of plates.

the chutney would defenitely the highlight of your meal.

must try : vada, kesari bath, masala dosa

cost for 2 : 150

after much waiting to get a seat and then some more to get our order, i was finally able totastethe famous masala dosa. obviously, it tasted good but for me it felt like a thicker version of the masala dosa from ctr. not that it’s bad but there is a striking similarity in thetasteexcept for the thickness of the dosa. nevertheless, we enjoyed the dosa and washed it down with a delicious hot filter coffee.
