if you like breakfast.......... ........this is theplaceto go in town. food is hot and delicious, and it's always got a great atmosphere. just beware come early cause thisplaceis always packed.

my favoriteplaceto go for breakfast with my work friends. they know me by name at this point. wait staff is wonderful and the food is great. they have the best harissa sauce for the eggs and toast. and their hash brown casserole is to die for!

soooo yummy breakfast! theplaceis nice and makes you feel good. staff is pleasant. drinks are creative and delicious. such a greatplaceto enjoy a good quality brunch.

i would not consider toast a brunchplacebut an average breakfast restaurant that serves blood marys and mimosas.  nothing seemed to stand out on the menu so i ordered egg and bacon sandwich which looked to be their specialty; other item was a custom omelette.  for what it was the food took longer to come out than it should have, no biggie.  egg and bacon sandwich was decent but tasted a little odd with the vinaigrette, ok still decent.  omelette came with an ingredient missing.  then we were looking to order 2nd round of drinks but our server took forever to come around or was far enough away or focused on something else making it hard to flag him down.  2nd round came in late, we were just about paid out and pretty much heading out the door.  close to two hours later we're finally out the door for what was probably a 20 or 30 minute breakfast visit.  i guess we could of just had bad luck with service but even with good service having looked at the menu and tasted some of it' it doesn't seem to match the good reviews.

my daughter and i stopped in after a night in town for a concert. everyone, from the moment we entered was friendly and attentive. theplaceis clean, bright and roomy. our server was helpful and efficient. my daughter had the bread pudding pancakes and loved them. i had the eggs and toast and a side of one lemon soufflé pancake because i couldn't decide. both were excellent! and everything with tip was $25!

great for brunch. an excellent destination for breakfast or brunch, toast on market has a comfortable yet unique venue. prompt and friendly service aids in the experience, followed by great food with a touch of originality. if someone were to ask me for oneplaceto eat in louisville before lunch i would quickly recommend toast.

thisplaceis a win. the service was great, first off. everyone was friendly and kept our drinks full. the food was really good. i had chocolate chip pancakes and bacon that i shared with my mom, who got the southwestern omelette or whatever. we split them. the omelette was perfect, fluffy, had awesome flavors with the chorizo sausage... the pancakes were cake-like in texture. they were plain without anything on them, so they needed the extra something in it. but everything all-in-all was awesome! definitely will be coming back, especially to try lunch.

my first visit. ok so, i visited thisplacewith a few friends of mine. it was a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. he claimed they had the best pancakes in town. he was wrong. i had better from a much lesser expensiveplacecloser to my residence, burger boy, (and it's open 24/7 which beats the 7-8 hours thisplaceis open.) the hash brown casserole was not impressive. i've gotten cheaper better hash browns at waffle house(and they didn't charge almost a dollar per add in topping!!). it was an ok visit, nothing super special there.

toast. thisplacewas delish! the western omelette, whole wheat toast, and fresh fruit were the perfect breakfast and the spicy blood mary was awesome. the creme brulee pancake was amazing and i am not really a pancake person. the pb and jelly pancake was meh, but if you love pb then this definitely for you. this is def on our list to vist often.

unfortunately a bad experience
my wife and i have eaten there before when in town and loved it. today's experience was poor service, pre cooked sausage off site and bland meals. we will be looking for a differentplaceon our next visit.

greatplaceto start your day off right!. i feel very fortunate to live so close to here! it is such a treat to go here in the morning! wonderful mimosas, wonderful breakfast items, wonderful toast.

consistently good food. we typically have brunch their once a week and have become regulars because they are the onlyplacei can find perfect blueberry pancakes ,they are always very friendly, drinks don't go empty, and food flys out of the kitchen without making you feel rushed to eat and leave.

just an update to the original post above. still a regular and still consitently good food!

great lunch!. a terrific bowl of tomato soup and perfect grilled cheese sandwich! could be my new favoriteplacefor a workday lunch!

best brunchplaceever! the peach basil ice is refreshing and everything on the menu is yummy.
