my favbreakfastplace!. i've been a fan of toast since they opened. the pancakes are light and don't leave you feeling like there's a cement block in your tummy. cliffie's plate is my regular dish of choice b/c i love a big breakfast. sometimes the wait is long, sometimes the service is a little harried, i'd recommend going on a weekday to avoid the hustle and bustle of weekend brunch rush, or just getting there a little later. every experience i've had there has been a positive one, it's where i take out-of-town guests for breakfast!

a nice lunch spot for a group. this used to be my once a week work lunch spot when i worked downtown on east jefferson. it was close by, had decent parking, wasn't too expensive, and had bothbreakfastand lunch items to suit your mood. sometimes theres a small wait but you are usually seated quickly and the service is prompt. my favorite were the blueberry pancakes, the california club panini, and the caprese grilled cheese with tomato soup. my friend always got the omelets (and the spicy bloody mary) and they looked really good as well. the specialty drinks are a little pricey like others had mentioned so i normally stuck to coffee (which is outstanding) or coca-cola. out of 30+ visits i don't really have any bad experiences to speak of.

i've eaten here forbreakfasta number of times and always enjoyed it. if you come here for lunch i still recommend getting thebreakfastfood. also, the bourbon mimosa is worth trying since its so unique and has a really good flavor.

awesome food, great bourbon coffee, and friendly staff. great atmosphere. cool venue. you'd have to be a grinch not to enjoybreakfasthere!

my favorite place to go forbreakfastwith my work friends. they know me by name at this point. wait staff is wonderful and the food is great. they have the best harissa sauce for the eggs and toast. and their hash brown casserole is to die for!

we stopped here forbreakfastafter celebrating our 10th anniversary in town. the servers/manager were very friendly, service was quick, and the food was awesome! we had the gazpacho bloody mary and watermelon mint mimosa to start, then the bacon/egg sandwich with dijon vinaigrette and goat cheese, a lemon souffle pancake (omg), and the mediterranean omelet. they were all amazing. we ended with a hot stick in the mudd (chocolate and caramel) latte and an iced salted caramel latte to go. i hate that we live so far away, because i am pretty sure this is my new favorite restaurant!

i would not consider toast a brunch place but an averagebreakfastrestaurant that serves blood marys and mimosas.  nothing seemed to stand out on the menu so i ordered egg and bacon sandwich which looked to be their specialty; other item was a custom omelette.  for what it was the food took longer to come out than it should have, no biggie.  egg and bacon sandwich was decent but tasted a little odd with the vinaigrette, ok still decent.  omelette came with an ingredient missing.  then we were looking to order 2nd round of drinks but our server took forever to come around or was far enough away or focused on something else making it hard to flag him down.  2nd round came in late, we were just about paid out and pretty much heading out the door.  close to two hours later we're finally out the door for what was probably a 20 or 30 minutebreakfastvisit.  i guess we could of just had bad luck with service but even with good service having looked at the menu and tasted some of it' it doesn't seem to match the good reviews.

bestbreakfastever!!. it was sunday, toast closes at 3:00 pm, my husband and i arrived at 3:05, there were very accommodating and didn't make us feel bad for arriving after 3:00, did not rushed us to order either.
everything in the menu looked good, i asked our waited what she recommended, and she said the french toast, streak and eggs and she was right, it was delicious!!!. they came with hash browns, very different but much better then your regular hash brown. no matter what you order you won't be disappointed... can't wait to go back..

steak and eggs, french toast. the eggs were very fresh, the quality of the steak was very good, tender and flavetfull.
the french toast was delicious, toped with black and blueberry, not to sweet, just right

great for brunch. an excellent destination forbreakfastor brunch, toast on market has a comfortable yet unique venue. prompt and friendly service aids in the experience, followed by great food with a touch of originality. if someone were to ask me for one place to eat in louisville before lunch i would quickly recommend toast.

toast. this place was delish! the western omelette, whole wheat toast, and fresh fruit were the perfectbreakfastand the spicy blood mary was awesome. the creme brulee pancake was amazing and i am not really a pancake person. the pb and jelly pancake was meh, but if you love pb then this definitely for you. this is def on our list to vist often.

one of my favorite spots for breakfast. i've never had anything here i didn't like. lunch sandwiches are good but thebreakfastfood is better. love the potato casserole, and the gingerbread pancakes when they have them as a special.

how do they get those omelettes so fluffy?. nice, cozy enclosed patio. ordered the mediterranean omelet. absolutely delicious! fluffiest eggs i've ever had! service was very friendly and prompt. a+ experience. makes me wish i felt like waking up forbreakfastmore often!

pretty good breakfast. they serve a delicious basil peach tea and a fantastic cheesy hash brown casserole (choose this for yourbreakfastside). service was very efficient. don't think i'd bear the crowd on a weekend, but would return on a weekday afternoon.

great place to start your day off right!. i feel very fortunate to live so close to here! it is such a treat to go here in the morning! wonderful mimosas, wonderfulbreakfastitems, wonderful toast.

this place is, well, wonderful!
