really delicious food. while the poutine wasn't as good as in canada (i don't hunk you can get cheese curd here in oz) the hotwingsand pulled pork burger were to die for. thewingswere hot, but not too hot you couldn't enjoy them. they worked really well with the franchise dressing side.

cockroaches infestation!!! awful staff and bad experience!!!

came in once and sat at the bar. the staff didn't even respond to my presence. anyway they spotted me a bit later and i got a drink. had to ask for a menu but it took them some time to get it. it's either they were mega hungover or on drugs.

i ordered somewingsand nacho's but while waiting saw this dopy guy with long hair pick up this plastic container and a swarm of cockroaches just went left right and center. the dopy guy just looked at the cockroaches and had no response. after seeing this eating my food wasn't a great experience!

anyway at the end i asked for the bill. the dopy guy sort of acknowledged me but completely forgot about it and i had to ask again.

i will never go back and don't recommend to anyone!!!

served raw chicken. i am canadian and visiting the area so i decided to try out the stuffed beaver as they advertise to be canadian. they didn't have any canadian beers at all so i had to resort to drinking a can of coors. then i tried the bbq chickenwingsand they were raw. i ended up sending them back after eating one and finding it red and bloody inside. they didn't charge me for thewingsand massively overcharged for a can of bad beer (7.50). the atmosphere is not even remotely canadian. i strongly recommend going somewhere else.

was so excited to try this place out. definitely what i needed at the end of the coogee to bondi (yes i did it backwards). we ended up ordering wayyy too much food but it was so worth it. had the buffalo wings, fried pickles, poutine and a burger as well.
the buffalowingswere very well sauced already and wasn't overly spicy but still packed a punch and came with ranch sauce which was awesome. the poutine is amazing, as all poutine is. i wish more places in sydney made them. i'd love to see a jumbo poutine on the menu one day as i could roll myself in it and eat it all day. i loved the atmosphere and decorations and the wait staff were super friendly! was definitely worth it!

the stuffed beaver is definitely the place to go when you feel like getting stuffed with 'dam' delicious man-food. i'm not sure how canadian this diner is, but who dam cares!? (ok i'll stop with the dam puns now) i went with a group of 6 and we luckily all fit in one of their booths.. 6 was a tight squeeze, even with some quite large bodies, so i was quite surprised we did end up fitting, i was expecting to sit across 2 booths after seeing the photos of the interior.  the tightness didn't bother us as we were close friends, on the booths across from us along the right-hand side, are 2-person booths for more intimate dinners.

the food was outrageously excellent, and service was outstanding as well. johnny and the gang do a great job with making dining at the stuffed beaver such an enjoyable and fun experience!

the sup dog ($10) was so good, i ate this all without leaving anything behind. other stand outs were the classic poutine ($15) (you must order this when you visit this place, no question to it), the hotwings($12) and carne nachos ($15).

out of the cocktails i recommend the stormy jerry ($16), it was the table favourite and best spiced rum with ginger beer i've ever had. that drink along with some trivia games within the group (highlight was to name every canadian celebrity we can on the top of our heads) certainly kept us going till the diner closed.

i'm eager beaver to come back here - johnny has promised to add a filipino addition to the menu soon - adobo tacos - i'll be definitely first in line if this does happen!! :d

average at best today.wingsand poutine were good. literally had to light a flare to get service even though the place was empty! don't like the new bar chairs, they are uncomfortable! have been a customer for years but the place looks as though it could do with a good clean!

best pulled pork burger in town!!. sometimes i just like to go to see what they've written on their chalkboard outside. i love a laid back, great sense of humour with delicious food type of place. i live 50 mins away but will happily make the travel just to eat their pulled pork burger. so tender and the brioche bun with the coleslaw really make the burger. their poutine is incredible! theirwingsare pretty spicy but really good. tacos are pretty good too. just really good comfort food!

beyond the famous poutine, i haven't really heard much about canadian cuisine. so when i got to go to the stuffed beaver in bondi i leaped at the chance. ready for fried pickles and clamato juice? beaver dam is a fantastic little diner/bar located on bondi road. it was a little quiet when i first arrived - just before the lunch rush - and we were greeted by a small team with wide smiles. as far as i can tell, the staff are actually from canada, and they are just so friendly. i guess that's what they mean by canadian hospitality. clockwise from left: bloody caesar, frickles, hotwingsi love myself a good bloody mary, and in the stuffed beaver i've found a version called the bloody caesar. it's made with clamato juice , which is basically a mixture of clam broth and tomato juice. the flavours are bold and unapologetic, and this is reflected in all of the other food as well. the hotwings- and i'm a chilli eater so i think i can say this - are hot. it left my fingers c

wow - was it really that bad.... thought it would be a laugh to check this place out with a canadian friend and a friend who also loves canada - i had lived there for 7 years. this place is pretty terrible and will never be back - better off getting a better north american experience at mcdonalds. food was very ordinary and way over priced. i love deep fried pickles and i got 4 soggy slithers for $7...???wingswere just plain drywingswith a bit of hot sauce over the top. drinks are over-priced and don't get me started on the waitresses - if you hate your job that much quit... they almost demand tips as it is customary in north america to tip - what they are forgetting is that in north america - you get service!!!! could not recommend this place less to anyone - don't bother - i know i won't be again...
