the pictures make it out to be a big location. was very small and stuffy.burgerswere very oily my husband was actually sick after eating there. freckle fries weren't that great. service is very slow for a small location. really wanted to like this place cause i have canadian friends which tell me how good canadian food is but this place was a let down.

poutine is one of my favourite foods and i'm so glad to have finally found a place which does them to my liking- lots and lots of cheese curd and lots and lots of gravy on crunchy chunky chips. theburgershere are also awesome and generously sized.

beefburgersare the go here, chickenburgersare much less appealing. the chips are some of the best in bondi. heaps of drink options and a super cool american diner style set up. they play the ufc on the reg if ur into that too. staff were 50%... i still love the place tho, it's everything it's supposed to be.

tasty!. yes it has a somewhat trendy vibe but i've enjoyed both visits here. some friends are regulars and have built up a rapport with the servers so maybe that has influenced our experience, in that service was quick and pleasant. the poutines are just amazing and theburgersare varied and delicious, even though i'm not a big fan ofburgersin general. this is a great place for a naughty calorific treat...

the stuffed beaver is an interesting spot. it’s a canadian inspired joint that dishes up a mixture of canadian and a tex-mex type menu. i’m talking fries, tacos, dogs, burgersand nachos. it’s not 100% canadian through and through but the staff and the owner are. they do serve the classic poutine which if you’re like me and have never tried this before, is a speciality junk food originating from quebec, a true emulsion of french canada. it’s fries served with gravy and cheese curds and it is as it sounds, evil and glorious. the venue has your typical sports bar vibe, great for a cheap eat and groups wanting to share. everyday they have a dam special. wing half day wednesday is their most popular item and i can totally see why. the frickles, ($5.99 – deep fried pickles) seems ungodly but it turns out to be one of life’s true guilty pleasures. if you love pickles you will love them hot, deep fried, covered in batter and then dipped in that tangy ranch sauce.  wanting the best of both wor

this canadian diner slash hipster bar is the perfect place to eat ridicuously good food that is ridiculously bad for you. theburgersare front and centre on the menu and range from simple to the gourmet and are all put together in a brioche bun. you can get the heart-stopping john candy with grilled cheese, bacon and a succulent pattie (all made in-house), the sanchez for those mexican lovers looking for a bit of salsa and guac on their burger and for those into pigs (like me) you can get your burger filled with pulled pork coleslaw and bbq sauce, appropriately named the happy pig.

brilliant beaver. i am a huge fan of the stuffed beaver. the customers might be too-cool but the staff are always friendly and won't judge you if you're the only one without a sleeve tattoo. perhaps not the best place for a sunny afternoon drink but a perfect night/rainy day spot to enjoy some devilishly delicious food.

i can't go past the poutine (fries lathered in cheddar and gravy), the nachos are a crowd pleaser and theburgerson a brioche bun make my mouth water at the thought (and my jeans burst after the last bite).

drink menu is limited, the food isn't the cheapest but it has the ambience, service and energy that makes it all worth while. who doesn't love a stuffed beaver?!

firstly, this restaurant falls into the 'less than $15 per main' section. i guess it depends on what your concept of a main is then so this is open to interpretation! the whole idea in this restaurant isburgersand fries, the classic combo that works. should you want them together then you'll be very lucky to pay under $22 dollars for the experience. fancy a beer with that? a pt of little creatures? that'll be another 12 bucks? call me old fashioned (or call me fat...whatever) but when i go for a burger and fries i kind of expect them to come together and i generally don't expect to have to remortgage my house to pay for them! okay, so cost isn't an issue for everyone so how was the food? awful! if a burger, so greasy that the bottom bun is completely soggy, is your idea of fun then you'll love this place! all served up in a try-hard kitschy circus-esque basket. i guess that makes cleaning up easy? you'd think! but actually the place stank of grease and was in need of a good clean. i'm sorry stuffed beaver but you hadn't one redeeming feature, not even your staff. big thumbs down!

what's with all the stoner food on sydney menus? the abercrombie, the duke and now i find the beaver capitalising on the 'green' dollar. although here they tell me it's food for north american ex-pats and aussies après-whistler. i guess for everyone else, burgersand frickles (deep fried pickles) are comfort food for drowning out working 9-5. there's a chummy bar in the front for loners, and dark booths in the back for intimate couples - just what you want when sharing tacos. genuine corn tortillas, soft and open with clumps of flavour, are all grinners but the chicken tacos ($4.99) with coconut and mango win by a nose. burger selection is vast with a smug (but deserved) 'no changes' policy, especially as their happy pig ($12.99) is perfection in a bun. the pulled pork, bbq sauce, and coleslaw will have you rolling in the proverbial mud. the j-lo ($17.49) , isn't jenny from the block , but a friend's creation of tequila, wine and g
