so glad we stumbled upon this place! i've never seen anything like it. the food is cheap and tasty.. highly recommend the blue cheesebeaverburger. the atmosphere is awesome.. the music is loud and the drinks are strong.

ah yes please. the stuffedbeaveris a cool grungy dive bar in a sweet location. the guy behind the bar was so happy and friendly. i had a bloody mary, the chips and onion rings. the bloody mary was like a meal topped with pickles and the whole shabang. i enjoyed it. the fries and onion rings were so darn good. cooked and seasoned perfectly. i would definitely go back.

served raw chicken. i am canadian and visiting the area so i decided to try out the stuffedbeaveras they advertise to be canadian. they didn't have any canadian beers at all so i had to resort to drinking a can of coors. then i tried the bbq chicken wings and they were raw. i ended up sending them back after eating one and finding it red and bloody inside. they didn't charge me for the wings and massively overcharged for a can of bad beer (7.50). the atmosphere is not even remotely canadian. i strongly recommend going somewhere else.

*** review for their semi-newish crows nest venue *** same menu ****i wish i lived closer to crows nest because stuffedbeaverand i are a perfect match. it’s my kind of food porn. beers, burgers, chili dogs, poutine, and all the greats of a good canadian diner. and of course, moon dog in a tin. come to daddy!

so sam and i were always going to @thestuffedbeaverbondi - then i realized they had a food challenge and shit escalated quickly 😆

ultimatebeavereater challenge: double donald trump, lumberjack poutine, full serve of hot wings, frickles, a can of coors and a maxibon 🍔🍟🐔🍦🍺

$50 if you fail - free feed and an epic shirt if you succeed! i had to beat the previous record of 21:08mins for success and stopped the clock at 8:59mins to cut the leaderboard by half!!! to all competitive eaters, this is one of the tastiest, most fun challenges i've done! get in and have a crack. thanks to the team for organising 👏

alright - this is an experience that i will soon not forget...i called up the stuffedbeaverto get an idea of the seating/wait time situation and a female employee picked up - she was flustered from the get go...unable to answer my simple question 'what sort of a timeframe are we looking at for two people' to which she replied 'i've got a full restaurant...packed...i don't know...everyone's drinking so i don't know...' i mean 'everyone is drinking?' her tone of voice was dismissive and rude - surely an establishment can handle 'everyone drinking' and be able to give an estimate as to the waiting time for two people! guess not the stuffed beaver...very very disappointing and poor customer service...doubt it will stick around for long if this attitude towards customers continues

the stuffedbeaveris definitely the place to go when you feel like getting stuffed with 'dam' delicious man-food. i'm not sure how canadian this diner is, but who dam cares!? (ok i'll stop with the dam puns now) i went with a group of 6 and we luckily all fit in one of their booths.. 6 was a tight squeeze, even with some quite large bodies, so i was quite surprised we did end up fitting, i was expecting to sit across 2 booths after seeing the photos of the interior.  the tightness didn't bother us as we were close friends, on the booths across from us along the right-hand side, are 2-person booths for more intimate dinners.

the food was outrageously excellent, and service was outstanding as well. johnny and the gang do a great job with making dining at the stuffedbeaversuch an enjoyable and fun experience!

the sup dog ($10) was so good, i ate this all without leaving anything behind. other stand outs were the classic poutine ($15) (you must order this when you visit this place, no question to it), the hot wings ($12) and carne nachos ($15).

out of the cocktails i recommend the stormy jerry ($16), it was the table favourite and best spiced rum with ginger beer i've ever had. that drink along with some trivia games within the group (highlight was to name every canadian celebrity we can on the top of our heads) certainly kept us going till the diner closed.

i'm eagerbeaverto come back here - johnny has promised to add a filipino addition to the menu soon - adobo tacos - i'll be definitely first in line if this does happen!! :d

20 minutes sitting here while its absolutely empty and the pseudo-bondi-hipster staff have not even attempted to acknowledge us beyond giving us the privilege of buying a pbr for $8. i work in hospitality and know what is expected of service. the stuffedbeaverdoes not even remotely live up to the most basic expectations of a venue of its alleged calibre. it's pungent elitism has validated all reservations i have about eating out on bondi.

up the beaver. we've been coming here occasionally for years and thought it was finally time to write a review. thebeaveris awesome! the staff are always cheerful, food is always spot on, drinks choices and speed of service dominate. thank god somewhere in bondi with character plays live sport. if anything, this small bar just keeps getting better.booth or bar, thebeaverwins.

the stuffedbeaveris an interesting spot. it’s a canadian inspired joint that dishes up a mixture of canadian and a tex-mex type menu. i’m talking fries, tacos, dogs, burgers and nachos. it’s not 100% canadian through and through but the staff and the owner are. they do serve the classic poutine which if you’re like me and have never tried this before, is a speciality junk food originating from quebec, a true emulsion of french canada. it’s fries served with gravy and cheese curds and it is as it sounds, evil and glorious. the venue has your typical sports bar vibe, great for a cheap eat and groups wanting to share. everyday they have a dam special. wing half day wednesday is their most popular item and i can totally see why. the frickles, ($5.99 – deep fried pickles) seems ungodly but it turns out to be one of life’s true guilty pleasures. if you love pickles you will love them hot, deep fried, covered in batter and then dipped in that tangy ranch sauce.  wanting the best of both wor

the food at the stuffedbeaveris exactly the type you need now and then where you can just indulge guilt-free in a casual setting. a must visit for poutine and diner lovers – expect it to be busy during sporting events though!

beyond the famous poutine, i haven't really heard much about canadian cuisine. so when i got to go to the stuffedbeaverin bondi i leaped at the chance. ready for fried pickles and clamato juice?beaverdam is a fantastic little diner/bar located on bondi road. it was a little quiet when i first arrived - just before the lunch rush - and we were greeted by a small team with wide smiles. as far as i can tell, the staff are actually from canada, and they are just so friendly. i guess that's what they mean by canadian hospitality. clockwise from left: bloody caesar, frickles, hot wings i love myself a good bloody mary, and in the stuffedbeaveri've found a version called the bloody caesar. it's made with clamato juice , which is basically a mixture of clam broth and tomato juice. the flavours are bold and unapologetic, and this is reflected in all of the other food as well. the hot wings - and i'm a chilli eater so i think i can say this - are hot. it left my fingers c

after googling "where to buy poutine in sydney" i found out that they were sold at "the stuffed beaver" in bondi. so i had to go there. google told me that they specialised in "canadian / american" food. the stuffedbeaveris located in bondi (not bondi junction), on 271 bondi rd . you literally need to drive all the way down bondi rd - it's located near the corner of bondi road and denham st. we arrived in bondi around 1:15pm and managed to find free 2 hour street parking on the curve where denham st turns into fletcher st. you can easily recognise th

food aside, the decor and ambience of the stuffedbeaverwas fun and quirky if not a touch scary with a strange native american indian statue hanging on the wall above the table. the lighting is dim which creates a very relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, optimal for talking and drinking and drinking and … you get the idea. the walls are filled with tongue in cheek posters and pictures, for example the picture of someone with a tattoo that says “no regets.” funny. i laughed.
