you have to be a flaming moron to not enjoy this place. from the fresh baked smell that welcomes you at the door, to the friendly service, to thefood- you can't go wrong here. there's plenty of "down" time when there's no wait - so if there is a line out the door is just come another time. i had the 10oz steak and it more than met my expectations. do not leave without a ted's tart - even if you're too full and must take it to go. i challenge you to find a homemade pop tart any where else.

fun family atmosphere with retro tv shows like i love lucy playing on silent screens. thefoodwas all wonderful. the braised pot roast is incredible. parmesan chicken is delicious and enough to feed two people. chocolate cake is huge and moist and oh so chocolatey. we also shared a chocolate peppermint milkshake that i'll be craving for weeks. we can't wait to return!

excellent experience!!. this place is great! thefoodis homemade and the portions generous. the menu is not extensive, but there is plenty to choose from especially with breakfast being served all day. on the downside, the dining room is noisy. it’s an open space with about 30 booths, so there is nothing to stop or deaden the sound. if you are looking for a quiet intimate experience, look elsewhere. i feel compelled to address the poptarts since it’s a signature item. they are more-so filled rich shortbread cookies than the traditional poptart. that’s not necessarily a bad thing considering it’s a delicious huge filled cookie...it’s not a poptart.

plenty offoodand it was very good. the pop tarts are homemade and extremely good. we had brunch on a saturday and it was very crowded, so plan accordingly.

thefoodwas good, but thought it came out pretty quick, making me wonder if a lot of it is pre prepared. it didn't taste like it was, being pretty good and giving the feeling of home cooked.

the beer selection was sparse, but fortunately i did like one of the 2 on draft.

the best part came to the desserts, which we got milkshakes. the black and white was the best i've ever had...and that's saying a lot as i've tested a lot!

the staff was courteous and efficient, so fine marks there.

the atmosphere within ted's is very nice and refined with the bakery and desserts in the front and the tables in the back. it feels very refined, but still ok to bring our younger kinds that are under 3.

the service was very helpful, nice, and attentive.

thefoodwas pretty good - i got a burger and shake. the burger was decent and the shake was good with a large portion. however, i was expecting a bit more out of an $8 shake - it had good flavor, but seemed more smoothie/fruit than ice cream and shake.

i would echo an earlier reviewer that said the restaurant was good, but not necessarily in the top 20 of d.c.

overall, i would still recommend the reseteaurant to a friend.

the ambience andfoodwere exceptional. the wait was almost unbearable. call ahead!!! since there were no seats, we stood around for an hour and enjoyed some drinks (nonalcoholic since they can't serve alcohol before 11am - argh!) while we waited. my son said the oreo shake was the best that he's ever had!

the portions were huge! wished we would have tried the ted's tart, but our meals didn't come with it and we were just too full to order one.

my impressions of ted’s bulletin were very positive leaving the restaurant last night, and it’s a place that i would definitely come back to for another meal. the vibe was good, thefoodwas great, and the staff was very professional.

fun, quality but casual. the first thing i heard about ted's was that the wait is very long, but we went around 9:30 am on sunday, put our names in, were told 30 minutes, and went to get coffee until they texted us that the table was almost ready, 20 minutes later. not bad. the rush hit shortly after that. what's important is that thefoodand service were great. those specialty pop tarts are a fun treat, the greek yogurt is an awesome fresh fruit parfait, the omelet was yummy, and all the ingredients were fresh and good quality. definitely recommend.

great reuben with pastrami. the staff was extremely friendly/courteous and thefoodcame quick. i also had a mocha kailua (adult shake). it was delicious

birthday dinner. our granddaughter's birthday dinner was great fun. thefoodwas large portioned and great tasting. the potato salad was so yummy. down side was we ate so much dinner until we had no room for desert. hint: face your kids toward the wall showing the silent movie and they will be mesmerized.

at first glance, i thought ted's bulletin was just a glorified diner dressed up like an extra on boardwalk empire. after all, what do 19 year-old baseball players know about places to eat since, well, they're just 19 and all they've been doing is playing baseball. it turns out they know a lot or at least they know that everyone should find a go to place to find a reliable, comforting meal. ted's bulletin is such a place. from the well done comfortfoodto the eternal breakfast, everything that comes out (sometimes too quickly though) will always leave you satisfied. personally, i could probably just stick to the milkshakes and pop tarts.

goodfoodand good service. i was looking for something unique near the hill and this was a good recommendation. the chicken fried steak was great but the line of adult milkshakes and homemade pop-tarts sealed it for me.
