authentic caribbean food. super friendly and polite staff/owners from jamaica couldn't have been nicer! i had the jerk chicken lunch and my friend had the curray chicken. both we're excellent and with two sides for $7, great deal and healthy! adding to my lunch and takeout dinner rotation.

gotta try it. my group stumbled across this place as we were looking for something different. our expectations were far surpassed. the food is amazing, the staff is very kind and helpful. i am not a dessert person but the owner asked me what was looking back at me from the cooler. i gambled on the key lime cake and it was unbelievable, didn't even make it home before i finished it. i look forward to going back and highly recommend sweet spice to the community.

we searched for a restaurant in savannah and saw this on urbanapoon. what a great place food was awesome and the service personal. i had the curried goat and my husband had a sampler of jerk chicken curried goat and oxtail. all was so flavorful great tastes. would suggest to anyone!!

delicious!!. the jerk chicken is to die for!!!! absolutely delicious. for delivery they took longer than the time they estimated but it was worth it. portions are huge!! will definitely order again.

went here with my husband today for a late lunch. we are new to savannah and have tried a lil bit of everything. we haven't had the best of luck. this place was great. the service was awesome, which is important to me! the food was good,flavorful and spicy like i like it. we will definitely be back and i recommend this place. great atomosphere !

best ox tail. i love sweet spice and pick up takeout regularly! my favorite dish is the ox tail-- i've eaten it at multiple restaurants in savannah as well as in the caribbean. sweet spice makes some of the best ox tail i have ever eaten. you have to try it!

a little gem. we had oxtail, goat, the ackee & salt fish, the fried shrimp and an order of johnny cakes. i would have the same exact meal if i had to, but would definitely love to try the other items. unfortunately, we don't live in savannah, so it'll be awhile before we return. i'll miss their food until next time!

a trip to jamaica in savannah georgia. i went out one saturday to get a sandwich and found jamaica-sweet spice restaurant. i had the escoviech fish with cabbage & plantains. wow! they have really good food, the service is great didn't have to wait long for my food although they were very busy. everyone was friendly made a promise to myself to eat there once a week...okay maybe twice :0

we have been in savannah for 3 days now and this is the best place we have eaten so far. the owner was extremely nice and the ladies made helpful recommendations. i felt that the environment and food felt like home! i recommend the oxtail, cabbage and the chicken jerk. the oxtail was juicy and tender. my friend also enjoyed her lamb dish. please try this restaurant if you are in savannah.

great food and service. wonderfully intense flavors and you have to try the pineapple ginger juice. i will most definitely eat here again and recommend it to my friends. this is a must try.

feels like your eating at family's house. we browsed reviews for restaurants in savannah to find a seafood and steak restaurant. we found this restaurant. we called and made a reservation for 14 people. we got a call back later to confirm our reservation. they informed us that they only had 17 chairs in their restaurant but they would be happy to accommodate us. when we arrived we were a little skeptical. however, when we entered we felt like we were eating at someone's house with friends. donovan was great. we were waiting on another couple to arrive, he asked what their names were and met them in the parking lot inviting them in. the food was spectacular! the staff are so friendly and personable. the food, i can't say enough about the food. i wish i lived closer so i could make it a weekly stop. we have already told friends and family how much they have to eat here. the prices are very reasonable. the red velvet cake was amazing. my grandmother loved the carrot cake (and she is a very picky desert eater because she makes amazing deserts herself). they cater and they also deliver if you are interested in that option. but they do have a nice sitting area in their restaurant. you must eat here if you are around savannah!
