nice place, nice food & nicer people. had the shrimp, beef rib & jerk chicken all meats were nicely flavored and cooked well, not hot but if you want hotter scotch bonnet sauce is available if you want more heat. at first look the portions seemed small, but with 3 meats on the sampler there was quite enough food even for a big eater like me, i did not leave hungry. rice & peas were good, maybe a bit shy on the red peas, and the cabbage & carrots needed no additional flavorings like so many cabbage dished do. had the fruit punch to drink, it was good enough to be considered a desert. the waitress and cook-owner could not be more nice and friendly. thisplacelived up to what i had heard. and for the one review i saw that said it was expensive, i would disagree, i thought it was a wonderful value for great scratch cooked food.
