not a fan.. i went for happy hour and theoysterswere not very good. the price is unbeatable, but it is the only food they serve at a reduced price. they say 2 for 1 frozen mojitos which is a huge rip off. what they actually mean is you can have a regular sized drink instead of a teeny tiny sized drink. my server did not give me any hint of this, which infuriated me. i have never had such an expensive cocktail. the prices on the rest of the menu are exorbitant as well. i will not be returning

a saturday afternoon reminds me alot of a boozy brunch in nyc. 1/2 priced alcohol and lots of it. not the biggest fan of the scene as it was terribly crowded, loud, drunk but having said that the 50 centoystersand the 9 dollar bottle of wine were better than expected. i had the salmon salad and it was pretty good. very busy very loud and sloppy tables but still fun to watch a football game on a saturday

sundays are amazing here! the frozen mimosas were out of this world. didn't get to try the french 75 though, which i heard was great too. the rawoysterswere nice in size and excellent. the gumbo had a dark roux, just the way i like it. must go back.

typical new orleans fried seafood offerings priced to make people in the trendy neighborhood feel like they are getting higher quality. food is ok. the wait for the food, however, is long...very long. think 30 minutes for a dozenoysterson the half shell priced at well over $1.00 per oyster. appetizers consisting of 4 friedoystersfor $12. ok but not worth the wait.

a friend of mine chose this as her birthday brunch destination. luckily they do take reservation and they even offer complimentary valet service. by the time i arrived to the table i had a $3.00 frozen mimosa waiting for me. it was actually pretty good. i followed it with a zing zang bloody mary, they rim the glass with blackening season- just how i like it!
theoystersrockefeller and chargrilled were good- nothing spectacular. everyone loved the carpaccio. i really enjoyed my salmon hash, i will most definitely get it again. we told the server it was our friends birthday. he brought out a decadent, molten, chocolate cake with ice cream and a huge sparkler in it. it reminded me of bottle service in vegas. it was a fabulous touch!
all in all, great ambiance, 3 piece jazz band on sunday, good drinks and good food. i'll be back:)

a great friend and i were in the city from the coast. looking to get a late lunch was proving a difficult request, didn't realize more than a few restaurants in that part of the city close between lunch and dinner. superior seafood looked to be our only option in the area for an upscale but casual bite. if you hate crowded noisey restaurants then try here on a weekday around three. you won't have a problem. the drinks are quite strong maybe so that you don't notice the sparseness of actual seafood in your meal. that's not to say what seafood was plated wasn't fresh and prepared to perfection just it seemed sparce for the price. i'm not looking for a cheesecake factory size portion mind you but three friedoysterson the fried oyster salad seems to me to be ...sparce.

great food and view of st charles avenue street car. we were visiting loyola & tulane university and stopped in here for dinner. we got a table by the big windows so we could see all the activity on st charles street. they have valet parking, a great menu and beautiful interior. i had the blackened catfish with crawfish étouffée, which was excellent ! started off withoysterswhich were fresh and plump. overall we had a great experience !

salmon was great, chargrilledoysterswere sub par to dragos & acme. creme brûlée was delish. happy hour didn't have enough options and in general i thought the menu was too pricey for the quantity of food.

so-so. the grilledoysterswere good and my salad was good, my fish dish (almandine) was mediocre at best. the bread was good. the bread andoysterswere not worth the total cost of the meal. we didn't have any problems with our service. my dad got the seafood salad and he said it was wonderful.

happy hour. great happy hour!oysterswere large, cold, and salty. whoever was shuckingoystersthe day i was there needs to learn to properly detach the oyster from the bottom shell. house made potato chips were a fantastic unexpected treat.

the atmosphere is great. the restaurant looks great and was well designed.
