an enjoyable experience. we recently had company who ate a couple of times at superior seafood and raved about the place. so with their recommendation we decided it was time to try the place for ourselves. we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of both thefoodand service. normally we stay away from these sort of "big box" restaurants, especially living a city with so many fine smaller options. we ordered off of the main menu rather than the limited brunch menu. overall, thefoodwas well prepared, attractively plated and very reasonable priced. several serves kept up well hydrated on what was a record breaking temperature day. overall, it was an enjoyable experience. the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms were fantastic!

great for frozen drinks at happy hour.foodis overpriced, small servings, and nothing special. i sis not enjoy my shrimp salad at all. it came with five small, unseasoned butterflied shrimp, cold, soggy, and stale tasting fried feta, and 2-yes two plain pecan halves on as much lettuce that could dress a burger...all for $14. go for happy hour, eat somewhere else.

four visits. i have visited here four times
-first time i had crawfish&crab bisque (very good) and 1/2 shrimp poorboy (bread too hard and not much taste to shrimp)
-second time i had trout amandine (i really enjoyed this but the entree has now been changed to what ever fish they have/drum/mahi mahi)
-third visit i ordered grill shrmp sesation/i came with blacked shrimp which were much too salty and not what i order/i complained and the shrimp were removed and the same salad sent back with grilled shrimp on it/i did not like this salad had too much feta cheese
-fourth visit i order the superior cheese burger /medium well/it was burned/4 people in the party order this /one was suppose to be medium/they were all burned and inedible.
i will not returned here again thefoodis very pricey for the value

not a fan.. i went for happy hour and the oysters were not very good. the price is unbeatable, but it is the onlyfoodthey serve at a reduced price. they say 2 for 1 frozen mojitos which is a huge rip off. what they actually mean is you can have a regular sized drink instead of a teeny tiny sized drink. my server did not give me any hint of this, which infuriated me. i have never had such an expensive cocktail. the prices on the rest of the menu are exorbitant as well. i will not be returning

nice ambiance, great waiter, ok food.

thefoodtook a long while to be served given the restaurant was empty.

pricey for "ok" food. there are too many other choices if you want to spend good money on ok food.

go somewhere else.

i wanted to love this place, gorgeous inside, fine decor, kinda busy. cool seats fixtures, heck even the bathroom has cool sinks. the service andfoodwas just below par. orders taken for the 8 person party, "salads are coming out" says the waiter. yet the next thing to arrive was the entree. what happened to the salad. no worry, we'll just bring it out out of order. got the fish topped with crawfish ettouffee. but the was no crawfish in sight. where's the crayfish? "it's that yellow sauce.". c'mon. he brought me out some crayfish to add. bad place.

typical new orleans fried seafood offerings priced to make people in the trendy neighborhood feel like they are getting higher quality.foodis ok. the wait for the food, however, is long...very long. think 30 minutes for a dozen oysters on the half shell priced at well over $1.00 per oyster. appetizers consisting of 4 fried oysters for $12. ok but not worth the wait.

had never eaten here until the day after the sugar bowl 2016.  our waiter was excellent!  knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and fun!  thefood(shrimp and grits and gumbo) was delicious.  the mimosas were perfect---get the frozen ones.  everything about this restaurant was wonderful.....the aesthetics, the wait staff, the food.....would eat here any time i'm in nola.

in a city that has so many choices for dining, i was rather disappointed in my choice of superior after cancelling my reservation at a brennan property. myfoodwas good, i had the oyster sampler which was delicious, gumbo that was nothing special, and bbq shrimp which were pretty good. my major issue was my wife's so-called $35 filet mignon. now i get this is a seafood restaurant, but if you want to charge $35 for a piece of meat, than it should be edible! the filet was about an inch thick, square and looked and tasted like a piece of boneless sirloin! it was tough and not like any filet we had ever seen or tasted (i tried it to see what my wife was complaining about). the waitress came by and asked if there was a problem and my wife said the meat was unacceptable. she rudely said she would get a manager. the manager came, asked what the problem was and then asked if my wife had even tasted the meat since only a small portion was gone (guess your supposed to eat half the meal before sending it back)! my wife is not a big seafood person and had her heart set on a filet, and said she would just eat the baked potato and be done. the manager said he would remove the meat (i refuse to call it filet) from the bill and charge us for the potato. neverless, i was okay with myfoodand was told by my still hungry wife that superior seafood was not good. we won't be back! too many dining choices in this foodie city, though sometimes it's hit or miss!

greatfoodand view of st charles avenue street car. we were visiting loyola & tulane university and stopped in here for dinner. we got a table by the big windows so we could see all the activity on st charles street. they have valet parking, a great menu and beautiful interior. i had the blackened catfish with crawfish étouffée, which was excellent ! started off with oysters which were fresh and plump. overall we had a great experience !
