very disappointed. this is the worst thai's restaurant in ottawa. after today's order, i woud never return again. the food was terrible. over priced, avg $15.95 per dish. when i asked for a hot sauce, they charged me $0.90. i couldn't believe it. no other restaurant charge their customers for sauce. the quality of food was really bad that i couldn't finish. be aware and don't go to this thai restaurant.

the best place for thai food in winnipeg!!!. sukhothai is by far one of the best restaurants in the city, and not just for thai food! i have eaten here and gotten take away many, many times and have never once been disappointed. their sangria is on point! absolutely love it!! the servers and staff are all very friendly. the prices are more than reasonable, especially for the quality of food you're getting! so fresh and flavorful. you can tell they really care about the food they are serving. i bring all my friends here and will continue to for many years to come! great restaurant and amazing thai food! easily one of my all time favorites.

personal favourite. i think i speak on behalf of my entire family when i say that suhkothai is our favourite restaurant in winnipeg. we come to eat there probably five or six times and love it. we always order the green broth soup with spring rolls vegetable rolls with extra peanut sauce and hot sauce. its always delicious and very consistent. we usually come in a large group, about 6-10 people. i have yet to eat something i don't like from here in my 10 years of eating here! today was the cherry on top. we get the same waiter everytime, a young man by the name of chony. he knows us pretty well, and knows what we usually order. (he also hooks it up with a bunch of those coffee candies at the end, now that's what i call great service. great restaurant 10/10 shoutout to chony snd sukhothai

you are forced to leave a tip because that is how their debit machine is set up really. i went to this place to pick up food and paid by debit. the choices on the debit machine are to leave a 15, 20 or 30% tip. you can't. bypass the tip, the guy who was watching me just smiled and didn't offer any help. leaving a tip should be optional.

bring cash with you are going to pick up. i don't see why i need to leave a 15% tip to someone who is just passing me a bag.

food is ok prices are higher than the usual thai places.

i don't know why the reviews are so high for this restaurant. inside looks beautiful, servers are good enough but the food is lacking.

the service and the set up is very nice but the food didn't taste very authentic. did not wow me.

simply the best.. i've been going to sukhothai at least once a week for nearly a decade and i never get tired of it. the food is always incredible and the service is friendly and quick. after trying sukhothai, i haven't found a thai restaurant on the continent that i've liked nearly as much!

the best thai in ottawa. this is absolutely the best thai restaurant i have ever been too... the food is phenomenal, it is a shame that it is not more centrally located. i don't like, i love!

amazing!!!. love the staff and the service!! the food is to die for. you can rate any dish from 1 to 10 from not very spicey to spicey!!

awesome awesome awesome!. i do pick up at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad order! their soups are awesome, their curries are excellent (especially the panang). beef salad is the best in the ottawa region. all the haters are probably from the downtown core where the thai food is bland! sukhothai is one of a few great thai restaurants in eastern ontario!

amazing. my absolute favorite thai restaurant. the food is always delicious, my favorite's being the stuffed chicken wings, chicken spring rolls, and the khang phet (red curry soup)! the fresh fruit smoothies are awesome as well! service is fast and friendly. i'm here at least once a month and they practically know my order when i come in. the only down side is they are closed on monays and that always seems to be the day that i want sukho!

would go again. went during a sunday afternoon lunch. was promptly seated and offered a beverage order. i do not eat a lot of thai food so i had many questions of the various items on the menu, and the server gladly explained everything. settle on a chicken dish with a creamy sauce that contained a bunch of cashews. extremely tasty, i wish i could remember the dish's name.

price seemed reasonable for quantity of food, and being in the village. would definitely go again.

sukhothai delivers a fine thai dining experience in the heart of osborne village. demonstrating the bright and tasty flavours of thailand, its dishes are authentic and pack a punch to boot. worthwhile for anyone in the area.

so good!!. holy smokes. i am officially obsessed with this place!!! everything was beyond marvellous. also very gorgeous atmosphere, relaxed, yet a perfect dose of fancy. me and my friend were thinking how great it would be for a date! definitely stop by, you won't be disappointed!
