absolutely delicious. every item i've tried on my numerous visits to sukhothai have been delicious. however, their best dish imho is the beef with basil. i've ordered it at other thai restaurants but no one makes it like sukhothai. service depends on who you get. the staff seems nice but the lady who runs theplacecan sometimes come off as stern.

did not meet my expectations. pretty expansive thaiplacecompared to other spots in ottawa, considering its location on the very outskirts of the city. portions are not very big for the price tag. will not be returning.

a new favorite!. i cannot believe how amazing thisplaceis. every single thing i ate was fantastic. i would especially like to highlight the mango salad... to-die-for. service is a little on the slow side but very friendly. great bang for your buck.

if you’re looking for a solid thai restaurant that is centrally located and is also large enough to accommodate large parties, sukhothai is for you. the restaurant is clean, modern and well laid out. the best part about sukhothai is the menu is comprehensive and the food quality is good.

i have been coming to sukhothai for many years. my definite favorites is their massaman curry and their stuffed chicken wings. service is always prompt and the kitchen keeps up even when they are busy in the restaurant or inundated with skip orders.

the only issue i have about thisplaceis the parking. you’re pretty much relying on street parking unless you show up at 11:30 for lunch!

best curry soup ever here. if they still have their lunch special then please get it. its amazing! they're crab wontons are also soooo good. highly recommend trying thisplaceif you like thai food. it's a very big restaurant so there's never a problem trying to get a spot. the service here can be so so.

sukhothai has been a staple for me for the last 10 years and i can honestly say it hasn't changed at all (thankfully!).i'm a big fan of their beef pad siew, i get it at 7 spicy and it's just the right amount of heat (if you like things mild i'd recommend sticking around 5-6 at the most). this dish is always consistent and might be my favourite noodle dish they make.  i personally really like the pad thai and was the dish that originally got me hooked on thisplaceway back when... i'm sorry to hear not everyone can say the same.their rice rolls and shrimp spring rolls are also always a good choice along with their keaw krob pouh ath (basically their take on a crab rangoon).  the mango salad and tom yum soup are also great choices for starters... get vermicelli noodles to add into your soup!as for their stirfry dishes - i'm a big fan of the cashew and the lemongrass pad puck - make sure you order rice on the side.i get that thai restaurants are a dime a dozen these days but i truly feel like sukhothai cares about their customers.  it's always my go toplacefor thai food and i've never been disappointed.  they do right by their customers and if they ever make a mistake, they are quick to fix it no questions asked.there's a reason thisplaceis nearly always busy 6 days a week.

last night we stopped in for dinner. theplacewas bustling, we were lucky to get a table. i enjoyed vegetarian spring rolls, and red curry soup with chicken. it was delicious. i enjoy spice, so this soup was awesome. very fresh. in my experience, this restaurant is priced slightly higher than some others, but it makes up for it with the fun, busy atmosphere. our waitress was very attentive, and i like that they leave a bottle of chilled water at the table. i will definitely be back.

nice decentplaceto try thai food. we ordered the pad nut puck, a stir fry with cashew and chicken as our protein choice, the seafood stir fry and shrimp rolls as starter. all was good and delicious. fast and friendly service. parking can a be a bit of a challenge but we managed.

fresh food and good service. the restaurant is done up nicely and the waitresses where really nice dress that gives theplacean authentic feel. my only complaint is the restaurant is small and people are seated very close together.

my family and i have been going to sukhothai for just about 9 years. we are absolutely obsessed with the food! we have been coming so long the owner knows our orders. the food is delicious and the thai tea is quality. the restaurant is byob, never loud, and the staff is so nice. i really love thisplaceand i want to support them which is why i'm writing this review! so check them out!

osborne village holds a specialplacein my heart. it's a busy little street filled with little boutiques and restaurants, the occasional tattoo parlor, and everything else in between. i remember roaming this street with my friends in grade 10 and feeling particularly mature and grown up. fast forward a few years, i find myself back in thisplacei spent many hours of my highschool days.

the hubby and i love this littleplaceand its ambiance. we always share the pad tai and we are left very full. this is forsure a constant date nightplacefor us dorm32

the wife and i love this littleplacewhen we feel like some asian cuisine. our favorite is the pad tai.. cooked perfectly. love the set up too!

authentic thai food....finally found a thai restaurant in ottawa that is actually very good with great service!

we ordered curries, noodle and rice dishes. everything tasted fresh with distinct favors. 

we were dinning causally, but greatplacefor family or date night.  staff friendly and knowledgeable and decor elegant and clean. we will be back!
