great little place for breakfast. the decor in this place is the first thing you'll notice. it is kitschy and fun to look at, as long as you're not seated across from the over-sized picture of the woman with red stuff dripping out of her mouth. that picture is just plain disturbing when you're trying to eat. you have to check out the bathrooms in this place.

the service was friendly, but a tad bit slow, but there was no wait to get a table. the food wasgoodand fairly creative with very large portions. i will definitely try this place again.

a cozy, corner diner playinggoodmusic with an excellent, friendly staff, goodcoffee, and the feel of a place that has been around forever. the menu at first seems basic, but has a lot of byo options to cater to everyone's needs. vegan? dietary restrictions? not a problem. blueberry pancakes were excellent and veggie kitchen sink looked like a pile of dirty dishes, while tasting sogoodyou won't need to run them through the wash. did i mention it's very well priced too??

awesome atmosphere, great service, unique food choices. i wasn't a fan of the thick cut bacon but i think that's just a personal preference. food wasgoodotherwise.

very cool place. the recently negative reviews show that it all depends on the waitstaff and kitchen staff working that day. was a bit apprehensive this am but had a great experience. the place is packed (writing this at my table) but was seated immediately. very funky; high piercing/tattoo ratio, very friendly.goodfood. the huge painting of a woman leaking tomato soup out of her mouth is an anti-appetizer and having only grape jelly are minor gripes. great eggs (deep yellow -- free range i'm guessing), great coffee. if i lived here i'd be a regular.

my favorite meal to have when dining out is breakfast. when i find a spot withgoodgluten-free pancakes, they have a loyal customer in me. succotash is one such spot!

succotash is an eclectically decorated bruncheonette, serving breakfast and lunch only. i would eat there if they were open for dinner, too, especially if they served pancakes.

food isgoodand flavorful. huge portions for breakfast. service is downright awful. the server wouldn't look or speak to my boyfriend. she didn't even take his plate off the table when we were finished. it was...odd to say the least.
if you like to people watch and enjoy delicious food simultaneously, this is the place for you.

i went for breakfast mid morning with friends. it was my out first visit. when we first arrived we waited for 5 min by the 'please wait to be seated' sign. about 5 tables were filled and 2 servers running around. finally someone acknowledged us and said we could pick anywhere. we were there 90 min from arrival to the time we finally received our change for our bill. slow all the way around. the food was ok. i had blueberry pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. the pancakes weregoodand bigger than the plate. the eggs on the otherhand tasted as though the were cooked in the microwave too long. my friends had the veggie sink and salmon wrap. both said the dishes weregoodbut not great. i would try them again but probably not again if the visit is like this one.

hipsters everywhere but amazing food. the atmosphere was cool. the vintage chandeliers, tables, sugar holders, and even the bar... all very interesting. every time i looked at the door a hipster girl with a hipster boy and his mustache. seated next to us, there were these really fabulous looking people from brazil. i couldn't help but over hear them. they were slipping in an out of portuguese and they looked fancy and chic. there is also a giant creepy picture of a lady eating soup. i feel like it should gross me out but it doesn't. the food speaks for itself. the salmon eggs benedict was the most heavenly tasting thing. the bread it was served on was soft and soaked up the fresh homemade sauce. the salmon was perfect. it had just the right amount of capers.
the juice was exciting. wow... so i ordered lemonade thinking that i would get some sort of minute maid tap sort of juice... no it was a no sugar, pineapple, lemon, and cucumber version. it soundsgoodright? maybe? to some creative types? well i'm a creative type... and it tasted like pickle juice. i felt like it should have cured my hangover because it was along those lines of being that gross. it didn't. so i won't order that again but i will order the eggs benedict and their fun baked goods and perfectly awesome coffee. you should eat here

succotash is a restaurant whose overall concept i regard highly. it's that funky, artsy type of place that feels like it cares much more about being unique and agoodfit for the community than being a cash cow for its owners.
