family and out of town guest met for dinner at squatters downtown. i had good memories of their food and especially their fish from a prior visit about a year ago. we ordered wings and calamari appetizers, buffalo burger, no frills cheese burger, ahi tacos, cod tacos, a chicken salad and beers. the appetizers and beer were good. the buffaloburgercould be taken directly from the buns and used as a hockey puck. the salad did not have especially fresh ingredients. the tacos were not well prepared and the fished tasted off. to my great discredit i choked down a ahi and cod taco and so did my son - we were sharing two tacos across plates. i left the restaurant with a taste in my mouth that worsened for hours despite efforts to remove it with brushing, mouth washing etc. around midnight i dashed to the bathroom for a thunder butt purge that left me feeling better. my son made it to the morning before he evacuated the fish. and all this for $120 + tip. not a happy customer.
