this place has such great vibes with such cool decor, the food is great and the waiter staff are attentive, funnyand friendly! large portion sizes feed the hungry men!

if your hungry this is the place to go. the meals are huge even the breakfasts are huge, in fact i have never finished a meal here as they are so big. you could probably share one meal between 2 people.

the burgers are so big they have a carving knife through it to keep it together. the staff are very accommodating and will change the burger to suit whatever fad diet you may be on. my friend was doing keto which is no carbs so they made her burger using lettuce leaves instead of the bun.

the decor here is very unique with a lot of vietnam war memorabilia hence the name spitfire.

nice place, staff really friendly, the music and the decoration spot on. the dishes a bit too big, so better to share. all in all great place.

very cool joint. lots of effort put into the decor to keep in with the war planes theme. burgers were huge and had great flavour. could share amongst two. caesar salad took a while to come out and in comparison to other meals was a bit lack luster but all in all an awsome burger joint. great value for money

i typically dislike messy food, especially the idea of tall stacked burgers. what better way to test my theory than going to spitfire restaurant and grill?

there's something about successfully taking a first bite of a tall burger.
that feeling of hope, optimism, and excitement and what's to come. similar to climbing a mountain, there's moments of exhilaration and just plain labour when eating this mouthful.

the housemade beef patty was flavourful, lettuce was deliciously fresh and gave it a little of that bitter kick. bacon and egg was a definite must, adding that overall extra ooomph to the meal.

shoutout to the fellow zomato reviewers who put the spotlight on the delicious sweet potato crinkle cut wedges. easily the highlight of the meal!!
would highly recommend this side to all.

service was really lovely and nice. attentive service coupled with smiles made for a great lunch service.
the decor was also cute, with airplanes dotted everywhere 🛩.

we came across this restaurant going back to melbourne from mornington peninsula. what a gem.

the decor is unique and cool. the service was super friendly from start to finish. great amount of space and good ambience.

the food was fantastic. tasty burgers and the sweet potato fries and dipping sauce was on point.

the table service from danny (from venice, italy) was very genuine, friendly and welcoming. he’s awesome.

this place gets the all round 5 stars from us. we rarely write reviews , but this place deserves it. hope to return one day.

don’t rely on other reviews marking this place down, they are down right ridiculously critical . this place is perfect.

had a sunday morning coffee here. lovely staff and service but unfortunately they weren't able to serve us breakfast as we had missed the cut off.

went with such excitement only to find a hair in my burger. staff were very friendly about it all and was made a new one. the burger was very dry and nearly inedible. then instead of it being on the house was only offered a $4 discount.

after reviewing some of the photos, i decided that i wouldn't even attempt a burger and opted for a caeser salad. the kid's burger would have been the size of a standard burger. those that had the burgers commented that the patties were too big and lacked seasoning. the buffalo wings were nice but i found the sticky sauce a bit too much.

service was very friendly, there is limited space for prams, it's busy with long wait times for service and food. try the mocha frappe...so good.

saw the giant burgers the day before and came in but it was breakfast time. lucky it was too because it was one of the best breakfasts in the area. had the scottish soldier and love love loved the amount of awesome black pudding that was included. really big serves for very reasonable prices. will be back for lunch and of course breakfast again.

tight space but friendly staff. however 5 of us waited almost an hour for a very average burger. their signature is to have a giant knife in a huge burger but the bun was dry and patties were not the greatest marination.

this restaurant is immaculate. from the friendly staff to the fantastic food you cannot get anywhere else!
my family and i visited here earlier this week and our food was fantastic. we ordered hot & mild buffalo wings and 5 (very big) burgers, safe to say we were all very satisfied.
i ordered the mosquito, whilst my family ordered the spitfire and thunder bolt.
thanks for making our first visit a great one, we will be sure to return the next time we are in the area 😊

ridiculous portion sizes of below average food. quantity over quality in this disaster of a place. very friendly staff but doesnt make up for the bad thick burger patties (burnt on one side for me). also got wings for entree which came out about 25 mins after burgers. asked after 10 mins into the burger to cancel if they hadnt started cooking them yet, said they were almost done. 15 plus mins later they arrived.

we came here after seeing such good reviews however we did not understand how the reviews were so high. ordered a burger each and managed only about 4 bites as they were both incredibly dry and stale. you can’t eat it with your hands because the patty is a rock of meat which is both dry and tasteless. the bun is stale, dry and hard even though it wasn’t toasted. the tomato in my burger had been lying out for a while as the edges had dried. this was just awful, i supremely regret not going to mcdonald’s or waiting until i got home to order grill’d. my god this place was awful.
