amazing overall. love the view, food, service and particularly the ambience.
the setting is calm with soft music and lighting that over looks the ocean and gateway of india.
love everything about sea lounge 👍🏻😊

visited this place with a friend . it has a lovely ambience and surrounding . perfect sea side view , ideal to visit during monsoons or early evening time .
however , food was unreasonably expensive for the dish and the quantity served . not worth spending on food , but it is a perfect place for a coffee or a small starter just to enjoy the vibes and ambience and perfect music !

every one was too humble. i really love the atmosphere, the breakfast experience felt really good. organic tea is really nice. i had chikkoos after a really long time. vegan dosa was great as well. chikoo and organic tea♥️💜

sea lounge gives a spectacular view of gateway. morning view plus breakfast no words.
they serve unlimited buffet. prior reservation is must. during weekends it's full.

breakfast if you are staying in the taj palace wing or high tea if you are not, both are just beyond awesome and totally worth it at the sea lounge. taj has a class of its own, be it the staff’s politeness, helping nature, or the taste of the food, the spread, the ambience- everything is just perfect.
you need to surely book for hi tea in advance specially if it’s a weekend.
if you are just two, the seats near the window overlooking the gateway are a no brainier.
hi tea has a wide wide spread of cakes - must have along with the other items.
breakfast is like a standard five star breakfast buffet spread.

very slow service, had to ask for items again and again, many items were over and had to ask for them specifically. food was average nothing outstanding that the taj hospitality is known for and that we expect out of such a brand.
go for the views but if you walk across the promenade and eat in another restaurant your experience would be cheaper and better.

this lounge is in the most prominent hotel "taj mahal palace" in mumbai. this place is known for the view. watching the famous "gateway of india" and the sea while having breakfast is tranquillity. food was tasty and of good quality. this place offers a wide variety of foods. as every corner of the popular taj hotel this lounge is situated in, this lounge is super clean. service should improve. a good place for breakfast and afternoon tea.

everything here is magnificent. few items like omelette and paratha aren't included in the buffet. you'll have to order from the menu.

the food was amazing. we got the table with direct sea view. it was an awesome experience with a good variety in the buffet. the staff was very courteous and when they got to know that it's my son's birthday they treated us with a complimentary cake with a birthday song in the background. they made us feel very special. it was a spectacular experience!

i love cold coffees too much! the one i had here- frappe was nothing but yumm! one of the best cold coffees in sobo !
also food bites at sea lounge were delicious & the desserts were lip-smacking!

sea lounge is an experience! so quaint , artistic n stunning! the service, live music, vibe , food, view .. all of it is excellent.

we opted for the high tea and just devoured it ! the desserts were my fav part and the chocolate pebbles were just out of this world!

shoutout to their staff and the girl who sings and plays the piano!

can’t wait to come back!

this place is known for the view!
such a spectacular view of the sea and gateway of india is unmatched.

i went here on a weekend evening for high tea and snacks. opted for the buffet option.
great spread of tea cakes & desserts. i'd say savory options were limited.
in savory, they had dabeli, paneer crispy, vegetable skewers and chaat. on the platter, they also served quiche, vegetable puff, scones and another cheesy dish.
lots of tea cakes, chocolate dipped strawberries, many other tarts too.
overall , love the view. decent dishes. they charge about 2500 per person for the high tea buffet.
