what a lot of beach bashers here!. people, again i say to you if you don't want to be around a cool, chill, and an otherwise relaxed environment filled with reggae music, beer specials, salt air, sun, and the cute girls of the salt life food shack then please stay your townie self on the other side of the "ditch" (intercoastal waterway)
and continue to eat at your country clubs and chain restaurants. excuse this, big love for the beaches, you too pvb. end rant...
aside from this, the shack is a fantastic place to hang out, have a beer and eat vac-a style food. the tropical yardbird sandwich is messy and good. the shack sauce with is a costa rican style amalgamation of ingredients any tico would be proud of is amazing. i know some complain about unwiped tables, young waitstaff, etc. but this isn't purported to be a "linen" napkin type of establishment. if you are elitist you may want to continue down a1a until you hit pussers (which is a great place, so don't hassle them) that is more your speed. ladies and gentlemen please bring your families and eat at the shack. i am a salt lifer all the way and i can appreciate these guys and their vision.
