amazing view on the river! food was delicious & customer service was spot on. ordered a prawn pizza & calamari for entree. reasonably priced.

location was great a shame the same couldn't be said for the food. it came out cold and tasteless they even managed to mix up the two drinks we ordered. very disappointing.

nice place, but not sure about going back. went to the riverside for a walk one night and grabbed a few drinks there because i liked the style of the place. i bought a little snack earlier and one waiter came by told me to chuck it in my bag.it really ruined my mood. it was not neccessary to use that tone and language as i didn't bring over a mccas meal over to eat. he came by and said sorry afterward but i really think a little bit of respect and customer service would go a long way.

the grand finale of pancakes – the serve was perfect as a breakfast dessert. three golden, tender and moist pancakes were drizzled generously with honey, topped with mascarpone cheese, and crowned with delicious fresh figs. dusted with icing sugar – the dish was beautifully balanced and a brilliant way to finish our brisbane adventures.

the name pretty much defines this place. beautiful scenic beauty to admire over your drinks and food.

one of the best places in brisbane for a casual meal or coffee and drinks. caught up with girls for a pre-wedding brunch on a recent sunday. the place was really busy but luckily we found a seat inside. the outdoor area is hot and noisy and the misting system is horrible!! makes your eyes sore and the area hazy. hate that you have to line up at the bar for drinks and to order food, which can take a very long time. having said that, the coffee has to be some of the best in brisbane. absolutely delicious. meals were exceptionally good. large servings and very tasty. even the standard avocado on toast with feta was well presented and came with generous dollops of quality feta. very yummy. the group ordered a wide variety of meals and everyone was very pleased with their choice.

me and my family were at riverbar and kitchen last night. food was amazing i had roast chicken and my hubby and sirloin was presented beautifully. the only downer about riverbar was the snooty manager getting grumpy at staff in full range of our table ruined our night the whole atmosphere was ruined.back again tonight and i am overwelmed by how much better it is with a diffrent manager.

pretty good. great atmosphere and location. bar service only. food is generally good and i've never had a bad meal. squid is always cooked perfectly, chips are great, pizzas are a bit small for the price. cocktail jugs are good value but beers/wine can be overpriced. overall it's a good addition to cbd bar/dining.

customer service the worst i have ever encountered. they were completely rude when we ordering and then failed to tell us we would have to wait 45 minutes for coffee and an hour for our breakfast. never come here ever

such a great location. the view and atmosphere is incredible and the food is fresh and delicious. the staff are great and really happy to help which is refreshing. you can either sit inside, outside in the sun or outside under an umbrella. couldn't fault my experience.

great service !!. it was a super busy breakfast when i was there. but it very well handled. might be a bit wait on food, but it was very understandable considering the venue that big and with only a few tables empty.
service was excellent. with all the professiona staff very friendly and bubbly to the customer. and they seems look happy even it was so busy.
definately will come back for sure

i don't get what all the bad hype is about riverbar and kitchen. i really liked it there! sure it was busy and the service is on the slow side but the location is a grade and the food is inexpensive but fairly well done. i would definitely go back for more drinks and nibbles, provided i can nab a table.

stunning decor. amazing ambiance. squid is yummy but needs dipping sauce. popcorn prawn - yummy too. crab slider - amazing!! prawn & chorizo salad - not so great - way too much iceberg lettuce.. pretty much the entire dish, little bit of avo and very thinly sliced chorizo but the prawns are lovely. overall it's awesome - its not trying to be the best restaurant in brisbane - it's a really great place by the river for good drinks and food!

my experince the 2 times i've been has involved great customer service but very much average food.
would definitely not recommend the "pizza" it's not worth the cost and doesn't resemble one at all.
the salads have a large portion size but are oily.
also sampled the chilli salt squid. as a bar snack/entree it was generously piled high with squid. however the dish was lacking any greens to break up the monotony of the flavour.

would recommend this place as a great drinking alternative to the other bars in the city - great view, relaxed vibe and the pimms cocktail goes down easy. beware the packed post work drinks if you're expecting to get a table to sit and conversation to be heard easy - place is loud, packed and fun - just the way post work drinks should be!
