stunning decor. amazing ambiance. squid is yummy but needs dipping sauce. popcorn prawn - yummy too. crab slider - amazing!! prawn & chorizo salad - not so great - way too much iceberg lettuce.. pretty much the entire dish, little bit of avo and very thinly sliced chorizo but the prawns are lovely. overall it's awesome - its not trying to be the best restaurant in brisbane - it's a really great place by theriverfor good drinks and food!

located on the beautiful and picturesque riverside in brisbane, riverbank & kitchen on a perfect 28 degree weather day with the cool breeze coming from therivermade for a great afternoon.

a few cocktails later like the aperitifs #3 $18.0, garden gimlet $19 & lychee mojito $18 accompanied with a soft shell crab burger, kewpie mayo, fennel & gherkins $21.0 made for a great cool down session and feast. had some other cocktails too but really just track of what and how many we had.

parking is available in a number of places near by in secured car parks like wilsons but make sure you either hit up early bird or in the evening as during the day, you could be up for a hefty fee like $72.0 if you're there for a few hours! geez.

decor is set up up well with a beach feel to it. accompanied with the qld weather, food and cocktails it was almost as if we were sitting in a boat bar / beach club in barcelona.

staff here were delightful and very welcoming which made for a great experience. always with a smile.

the crowd varied here from retirees through to young professionals which all looked like they just finished a ralph lauren shoot.

riverbar & kitchen will definitely be a place i'll come back to visit whenever we're in brisbane and seeming as i'm here for another few days, i think we'll visit it again for the duration. maybe i'll stop to take a photo next time too. till next time, this is our foodie find today.

visitedriverbar and kitchen last night on australia day and ordered the salmon w saffron, fennel, red pepper and dill. the salmon was super tasty and cooked perfectly, the salmon also had crispy skin which i always enjoy.
service was reasonably quick considering how busy the place was and it’s also a great location, with brisbaneriverand story bridge views.
a very enjoyable meal!

came here for brunch with my boy friend，beautiful day，beautiful weather。 we ordered 2riverbar breakfast,waiting time is 40 min, bacon is hard and dry, mushroom dry and tasteless, service was alright, not the place for food .

i love the cocktail selections there. i do not go there for the food, it is mainly the drinks and the view. i really enjoy just sitting there and looking at theriverand the story bridge. it can get really crowded on the weekends.

a large group of us went there for a xmas party last november
we arrived at scattered times from starting at 1200- 4 pm
ambience fab, packed to the rafters food delicious, beautiful thing was finger food to shsre amongst all of us.. absolutely terrific

the environment watching the kookaburra queen paddle up the brisbaneriverin summer while as the afternoon was drawing a close the alcohol came out and everyone was in high spirits

dropped in here while waiting to go on arivercruise. coffee was average and the brunch cocktails were okay. didn't try the food but the location on the brisbaneriveris pleasant and relaxing.

had mixed thoughts about this place prior to actually trying it due to reviews but then thought i'll just wing it, so off we went.
pleasantly surprised, fantasic location right on theriverand even better that the conditions were overcast and not disgustingly hot.

loved the decor and view, so very relaxed.
service was exceptionally quick for both coffee and brekky and the staff very polite. coffee was good, strongish, but felt it was a tad to milky for my liking.
the brekky was great size and tasted excellent, only let down was bacon was a little dry and chewy but other then that great.

if you looking for service do not go here. the ordering system is a joke. menu is a typical pub menu with extravagant prices. $20 for a beef burger, $29 for fish n chips.. seriously... overall it's poor service ( no table service) and they charge like it's top end. crazy. lucky they have theriveror it would be all over for this place.

such a great restaurant on theriverin brisbane 😀 fantastic decor, friendly fast service and fabulous fresh food! i had such tender lamb sliders with kewpie mayo (first time) yummm! octopus salad was very interesting and fresh, soft shell crab burger was a first and well prepared. i thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! thanks to my family 😀

this place is off the hook on friday nights. to be honest it is off the hook even on week nights. it has the perfect picturesque view of theriverand the story bridge, great range of food choices which change depending on seasons.

riverbar is my go to spot for a drink on a summer afternoon. it really is hard to find a better spot in brisbane to have a drink in the sun with ariverview. unfortunately everyone in brisbane seems to have the same idea and it gets incredibly crowded in the afternoons and evenings. the food and drink is quite expensive for what you get, however the prices reflect the location and popularity. decent burgers, pizza and bar food. i recommend the sweet potato chips (though you never get enough sour cream!). coffee from single origin roasters is decent but don't expect latte art, they're usually pushing them out too quickly to worry about it!

you'll be hard places to find a better location for an al fresco lunch in brisbane. right on theriverand with a view towards the storey bridge there is no better spot to have a beer, great food and a chat with family and friends. the menu is large enough to ensure you get variety, we had the moreton bay big salad and the steak sandwich. both were perfectly sized, seasoned and delivered to the table in a good amount of time.
