this place is off the hook on friday nights. to be honest it is off the hook even on week nights. it has the perfect picturesque view of the river and the story bridge, great range of food choices which change depending on seasons.

riverbar is my go to spot for a drink on a summer afternoon. it really is hard to find a better spot in brisbane to have a drink in the sun with a river view. unfortunately everyone in brisbane seems to have the same idea and it gets incredibly crowded in the afternoons and evenings. the food and drink is quite expensive for what you get, however the prices reflect the location and popularity. decent burgers, pizza and bar food. i recommend the sweet potato chips (though you never get enough sour cream!). coffee from single origin roasters is decent but don't expect latte art, they're usually pushing them out too quickly to worry about it!

you'll be hard places to find a better location for an al fresco lunch in brisbane. right on the river and with a view towards the storey bridge there is no better spot to have a beer, great food and a chat with family and friends. the menu is large enough to ensure you get variety, we had the moreton bay big salad and the steak sandwich. both were perfectly sized, seasoned and delivered to the table in a good amount of time.

never had a bad meal here. breakfast is great, coffee good and service has always met expectation even when the place is crazy busy. i'm giving this a 5 to bump up the score. scrambled eggs and all day breakfast would be improvement.

the views from our table superb. the decor suited to its location along the river front.
the waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs.
the food i thought quite average. i ordered the french toast which arrived with one slice of bread, under ripe plum slices albeit plated up nicely. hubby's brekkie with an extra side of sausage was better though.
probably the biggest let down was mr personality plus-who-lacked-personality-or-smiles who served at the counter. i lunched, dined and had brekkie elsewhere for the remainder of our stay just coz his service was not extremely welcoming.

visited for a weekday lunch with colleagues. meals came out quickly and service was friendly without being ott. i had a delicious prawn linguine - the pasta tasted fresh & hand made. other meals around the table also looked great & reasonably priced

i feel like this place just gets by on the location and the view. i’ve
been a couple of times for drinks but have never been overly impressed, and
after my last experience i really doubt i will return. attended a birthday
function here and was told that they couldn’t cater for my gluten intolerance so
i would have to order something from the regular menu. the menu doesn’t give
any indication of anything being gluten free, dairy free or even vegetarian and
when i asked at the bar i was told ‘you can probably have the sweet potato
wedges’. so i ordered them, they were $10 and came in the smallest bowl i have
ever seen, there were about 12 wedges and because some of them were so thick
they weren’t even cooked through. they also say that they come with sweet chili
and sour cream….they come with about 2 tablespoons of sweet chili and literally
a half teaspoon of sour cream dolloped in the middle of the sweet chili. the
staff were rubbish, twice we were given totally different drinks than we had
ordered and when one of the mistakes was pointed out we were told ‘i’ve already
taken it off the bar tab, so do you still want it?’. overall just such an
average experience. go for drinks if you’re not too bothered about service, but
there are better places along eagle st with the same view and much more to
offer.

seriously disappointing and overpriced food. had the prawn linguine, it was terrible. my friend had crumbed chicken and it was similarily bland. besides that it a really nice place and the service was reasonable on a very busy night.

decided to have breakfast here one sunday morning and despite it being packed with people, had a very enjoyable time. lovely decor and setting against the river and story bridge and the good was nothing short of delicious.

we had a work function here and the quality of food and selection of beverages was incredible. service however was extremely slow and the wait for a drink at the bar was painfully long. but lovely part of brisbane

this place has an awesome location and is well decked out. it also has a great selection of booze. however...the staff are ridiculously bad and don't give two hoots about good customer service, or any service at all. give it a wide berth until they get their shit together
