in such a great little spot right on the brisbane river. very relaxed, coastal atmosphere and the food to match. we had drinks there a few days in a row, whilst here on holiday and enjoyed a quick lunch of the prawn pizza; great flavours...loved the dill. heading back there in the morning for breakfast!

came here with some colleagues for a team dinner. was surprised at how busy the place was for a monday afternoon, but then again it's not an area of town i frequent so have no real baseline. plenty of seats inside though, however it was still fairly loud inside even with most of the crowd sitting outside. food wise i thought the offerings seemed a bit pricey for what you get. no complaints with taste, flavour etc, but i guess there's effectively a built-in surcharge for the location/views.

lovely brekky this morning. oat pancakes with nectarine, pistachio and marscaporne for me. finally got my pancake/waffle fix and it didn't disappoint. great view of the story bridge and river. perfect weather to be seated outside. loved how spread out the dining tables were - despite how busy it was this morning, it didn't feel crowded. i ordered a mocha to go with my brekky and the coffee was really strong - almost bitter so not an amazing coffee but the pancakes were freaken delicious and the portion was excellent! only improvement would be the nectarines - they were sour and the sweetness of the marscaporne and pistachio brittle only made that sourness more pronounced. bought a banana muffin to go because it looked irresistible. overall, really good experience. will definitely go back.

had mixed thoughts about this place prior to actually trying it due to reviews but then thought i'll just wing it, so off we went.
pleasantly surprised, fantasic location right on the river and even better that the conditions were overcast and not disgustingly hot.

loved the decor and view, so very relaxed.
service was exceptionally quick for both coffee and brekky and the staff very polite. coffee was good, strongish, but felt it was a tad to milky for my liking.
the brekky was great size and tasted excellent, only let down was bacon was a little dry and chewy but other then that great.

if you looking for service do not go here. the ordering system is a joke. menu is a typical pub menu with extravagant prices. $20 for a beef burger, $29 for fish n chips.. seriously... overall it's poor service ( no table service) and they charge like it's top end. crazy. lucky they have the river or it would be all over for this place.

this casual dining venue is known for its relaxed vibe and great view. i've been here heaps for work lunches, farewell piss-ups, even brekkie on weekends and its consistently a pleasant option...if a little pricey. tonight i brought canberra colleagues here for dinner and they totally fell for its ambience hook, line and sinker baby. one then went on to rate the goldband snapper dish as sublime. kpis smashed. tummies contented. win-win. 👍

now head up with our friends for a good breakfast. directly on the brisbane river. actually it's better to sit inside, as the fans doing a good job specially when its warm. i had the smashed avocado with feta on multigrain bread, it was really yum. such a shame that there not doing scramble eggs.

i didn't want to write this review, i wanted to like this place. the service here the first time i went after work was great and it was the perfect spot to have an after work wine. however the second time we stayed a little longer and when hubby joined in he grabbed a chicken burger. sadly it was on the borderline of being uncooked so he wass little put off and left it. i spoke to the staff and they were great. offered a redo but we declined as it kind of ruined our appetite. they then offered us a free drink but we had to head home given it was midweek.however given how friendly they were we went back. the next time no food just drinks and no dramas. i'm scouting function venues for a birthday next year and i love the location here so i really tried to like it. i booked tickets for hubby, myself and 4 friends to come here for riverfire. sadly the service, food and drinks weren't so great. it was under catered, lines to the bar long and drink options very limited. as we were towards the back of the venue the food was gone before it could get to us. i mentioned to a few waiters through the afternoon that we hadn't gotten anything with no help. in the end we had to go to the waiters and fight through people to get one or two canapés. i tried two food options and while both were tasty i left hungry and disappointed. sadly i won't be trying again.

a group of us came for riverfire and we were definitely a little disappointed. paid $99 each and we barely got any food (i had 2 serves of calamari and one piece of ceviche all night), plus they ran out of chandon (which was kind of the point of coming). gave them the courtesy of privately messaging and they just ignored me. definitely wouldn't bother with a function there again.

such a great restaurant on the river in brisbane 😀 fantastic decor, friendly fast service and fabulous fresh food! i had such tender lamb sliders with kewpie mayo (first time) yummm! octopus salad was very interesting and fresh, soft shell crab burger was a first and well prepared. i thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! thanks to my family 😀

food, service, drinks are below average. but you're not going there to taste but to hangout. location, location, location. it's not a restaurant but a place for a quick drink

great location and atmosphere. we had pizza, fried chicken and meatballs. the meatballs weren't cooked all the way through, but apart from that it was great. also very good cocktails!

nice spot on the river, probably better know for its view than the food. the beef brisket tacos however were a winner and i can definitely appreciate the appeal of this place on a nice spring day

located along the brisbane river, this is an idyllic spot to enjoy a long lunch or linger over a cocktail (but be warned, a couple of these and you won't be getting much change from $50).
