amazing experience so much so that i came back the next day. great food and service. the atmosphere is quaint and calming but also entertaining at the same time. a must for louisville visitors. thank you!

ramsi's cafe is a great place when you are in mood for something different. the place is a cocktail of world food with the best of everything. the place has a lot of vegan options as well. the egyptian kitchen was great with the fusion of egyptian and italian cuisine. the staff is really great and helpful. the place has its own character with the artifacts and outdoor decor.
i would like to visit again and try out something new.

can't say the food is bad. guess since i'm not a hipster, i don't get the hype about this place.

basically olive garden with higher prices. i've tried several things here. never been impressed. it's average at best.

the prices however, not so average. pricy for such mediocre food.

my husband and i went for a late dinner at ramsi's. we arrived a little after 11pm on saturday night. the place was fairly full, but we were seated immediately. the host asked us if we would like to sit in the room with the piano player or in a quieter room. we choose the quieter room. i started out with a dizzy ginger cocktail ($9.00). for dinner my husband chose the greek salad with chicken ($13.95) and i opted for the empress
chicken ($15.75). the greek salad was large and was made with fresh feta cheese, which was delicious! the only complaint was that the olives were not pitted. the salad came with two sides of dressing, but one was plenty. my empress chicken was very good, but a little spicy for my taste. it was served over basmati rice with broccoli and mushrooms. for me personally a little less sauce would have made it perfect. we have been to ramsi's several times and try to get something different every time.

ramsi’s cafe on the world was one of the restaurants i found and requested we visit specifically when my family took a trip to louisville earlier this year (january to be exact, i’m just a touch behind on sharing my restaurant reviews 😉 ). the website for ramis’s cafe describes its cuisine as “global comfort food.”

absolutely fabulous restaurant. when the weather is right, the front patio is very pleasant for a meal. located on bardstown road, this gem is better in the lively neighborhood of the highlands. the menu is fantastic--especially for a picky vegetarian! don't short change yourself by only visiting during lunch and dinner hours, though-- ramsey's has a delicious brunch on the weekends as well!

visited based on recommendations from a few friends. i found the menu to be very overwhelming with so many choices and cuisines featured. i was disappointed by my choice however it was still good. however i was jealous of others dishes. my advice is to be bold and go out of your comfort zone here!

i've visited a few times for lunch only, and found it to be a great place to bring clients and staff for a unique and flavorful meal. the place is often packed though but i highly recommend.

excellent atmosphere and eccentric menu. i may be nitpicking but i felt food left a little to be desired in flavor department, but definitely good and i will be returning.

it might be good. it might be terrible. we never got to try it because they lost our "reservation" for 4 at 8pm on a saturday.

customer service. from the wait until after the check was paid. never felt rushed. follow up timing by the staff was right on.
food was right on as well. goat cheese and garlic bread was a great starter. also had ribs that fell off the bone. grouper topped with crab cakes that was tasted delicious.
no complaints here
