absolutely fabulous restaurant. when the weather is right, the front patio is very pleasant for a meal. located on bardstown road, this gem is better in the lively neighborhood of the highlands. the menu is fantastic--especially for a picky vegetarian! don't short change yourself by only visiting during lunch and dinner hours, though-- ramsey's has a deliciousbrunchon the weekends as well!

love sunday brunch!. we have enjoyed the sundaybrunchmany times since moving to louisville, but we have not dined for lunch or dinner. our favorites at thebrunchinclude gorgonzola chicken, nachos, cheese tortellini, made to order omelets, and chocolate raspberry trifle for dessert. the price includes unlimited milk and orange juice. the place is always packed for sundaybrunchand the waiting area is very small, so we would recommend getting there as early as possible. this restaurant is a must when showing visitors the great food in louisville.

usually enjoy but timid turd at door made our party of six wait hour and half for brunch. two pages of smaller parties were seated before us, take charge and put two tables together. other patrons joked with us as they were leaving about us still standing by door when they were seated much later than when we arrived

so much better than chili's. if you're going to spend applebee's, chili's, ditto's, o'charley's kind of money, for god's sake come here. the menu will baffle you but be brave, very little on the menu is average. a great sundaybrunchfor gangs of friends just out of the rack on the weekend. sans any bottles of wine, you bill with be reasonable and you will leave well fed.

one of the best. ramsi's is one of my absolute favorites. i will say i am saddened they removed the chicken sandwich from the menu but i am told it may come back in time. that said, there isn't anything on the menu i would say not to try. it's all amazing.

the sundaybrunchis just delicious. if you go, go hungry so you can sample all they have to offer.

we love to sit outside during warm weather and watch the people go by. inside is cozy and the atmosphere is fun and eclectic.

the prices are fair and even if you are on a budget, you are sure to find something you can enjoy without breaking the bank.

sundaybrunch= delicious. while i do admit that the lunch/dinner menu could use some editing, the sundaybrunchbuffet at ramsi's is so good. the vegan options will knock the socks off even meat eaters.

on the topic of brunch. i have reviewed this place before, but thisbrunchthey serve is a different beast. it is so fun and yummy to go there for brunch! we have been twice and really enjoyed it both times. there are just so many choices on the buffet, and the omelet bar is just icing on the cake! and a whole dessert table?!?! stop it! now you are just bragging. if you want to stuff yourself with the most variedbrunchbuffet i've seen for under $15 then treat yourself to ramsi's.

another one of those places with huge potential.... i have read and agree with so many of the other reviews about this place. it has some really intriguing and awesome sounding entrees. however, it is my experience that with a very large and varied menu, there are always consistency issues, and ramsi's menu is no exception.
i think we got lucky with our server, danielle, who was so sweet and very competent. we had the mezze plate as an appetizer, which had some redeeming points, like homemade roasted tomatoes and good feta cheese, but both the hummus and baba ganoush were bland and we had to 'doctor' them with the lemon from my water and salt. the pitas were straight off the grocery shelf, a little stale, and they were not even warm. still, all in all, not bad.
for dinner, my husband ordered the shrimp piccata, which had some of the largest prawns we have ever seen, and they were cooked perfectly. as for the angel hair pasta and piccata sauce, i cannot be as kind. the pasta was overcooked and somewhat mushy and the sauce suffered from the same issues as the above dips; it was so bland that we again added our lemon and salt. i ordered the beef tournados, which are basically small filets of beef. they were good sized, well seasoned, and again, cooked perfectly. absolutely fantastic. the z-potatoes were great. as for the seemingly frozen veg dish that is served with a large portion of the entrees on the menu, it is a good mix of colorful veg that is healthy and well prepared, but nothing to brag about.
for dessert we had the chocolate bourbon creme brulee. it had the thickest sugar coating on it that either one of us had ever experienced. i don't even know how they managed to get it that thick without burning it-- i think they might have actually layered it. it took some work to crack through the thick candy shell, but the creme brulee was good once we got to it.
my over all judgement on the place is about a 6 out of 10. we had a groupon, which certainly helped us feel like we hadn't spent too much on the meal, but i don't know if we would go back for dinner there without it. we might do wine and appetizers late night, as they have a ton of appetizers to try and a $10 bottle special past 10:00.

perfect getaway. we had heard of ramsey's a million times but living far in the east end and it being on btown road, it was never a convenient fit to our itinerary. one night we finally fit it in after our other option falling through and we loved it!! it is now our absolute favorite restaurant!! it is unique, diverse and extremely flavorful! the atmosphere is relaxed and it's perfect. also their sundaybrunchis incredible!

ramsi's is still a trip around the world. i can remember the first time i ate here, i was in high school and my sister brought be to ramsi's because she had just discovered it. i had never experienced such ruch flavor and diverse spices. i was in love. fast forward 15 years later, and ramsi's is still rocking out. i was recently there for sundaybrunchand it was spectacular. they had everything you might expect and so much you would never expect. i think my favorite thing was ...well lets just say there were too many to name. i also love thier crab cakes at dinner and of course their appetizers. this is a great place to experience multiple cultures through food.
