very nice place. it's a restaurant and shop as well with a variety of options to buy. their food is delicious. some i would day overprice, but the taste is worth the price of their food.

not too sure where all the 4's and 5's come from. i presume it's patrons that have been craving something new or different in pretoria. i'm new to pretoria, so here is my unbiast review. great ambiance, friendly waiters. restaurant though, bit overpriced, have had better "authentic" italian. i can't comment on the deli, only been to the restaurant for supper once. italians are fiery and prepare their food with passion and love, something that's missing at old town italy. and yes, if you eat enough italian food like i have, you can taste the difference.

i do not say this often at all. i absolutely loved this place!! i fell in love with firstly the decor and the layout of the place. it has the italian market kind of look at first. the service is great. the atmosphere is great. and of course the food is also great. it wasn’t the best pizza but not far from it.

i’ve never come across a restaurant so far where i loved it so much that i couldn’t see any faults. great job guys and keep it up. you’ve really got an incredible concept.

our parents landed from overseas and we decided to take them to old town for lunch yesterday,we were well taken care of by our sweet friendly and professional waiter zeb. the service was so smooth throughout but was absolutely gutted when l arrived to find majority of dishes were changed, but zeb quickly recommended  250g fillet special with peppercorn sauce served with vegies and sweet potato fries, it was absolutely succulent.we will be back because service is on point and amazing decor, really love it

busy, noisy, happy vibe - just what you would expect from an italian style trattoria. we chose a selection of antipasti with a glass of wine, and all were tasty and nicely plated. i couldn’t fault the service either. only slight niggle was i thought the wines were on the pricey side.

restaurant is like an indoor food market, loved it! i normally ask the waiters for most popular meals and i must say, i understand why my pasta was on top of the list!!! scrumptious!!! great feel and vibe of italy too. a definite 5 star. had to top it all with a tiramisu. 👌🏼

perfect for a date night. loved the ambiance, you get a real taste of italy. friendly staff and good service. we enjoyed the pasta and look forward to go back and try the pizzas.

i just love this restaurant. the food is delicious and the restaurant is so cute and cozy! - i tried the red cappuccino for the first time and i am hooked for life. great for cute breakfast and lunch dates as well as meetings.

old town italy is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to visit when i’m in the centurion area. menlyn on maine is such a classy stripped mall with lots of arty statues and interesting shops. the ambience isn’t the only reason i like visiting oti. if you want to experience italy in gauteng you’ve come to the right place. the food is amazing. i’ve been here twice and have had two different pizzas. i will definitely try the pasta on my next visit. although the service didn’t make me feel like a king, it was acceptable. pity they don’t take bookings - and the restaurant is packed normally. so don’t be in a hurry to get a seat as you can quite easily wait 40min for a table. all in all a great restaurant that anyone who appreciate fine italian food - must visit!

spent a night here with some friends not knowing what to expect. between the meat anc cheese platters we were extremely impressed with the food, setting and the amount of work done to give it an authentic feel. can’t wait to go back again and try out their desserts.

the best croissants in town, baked to perfection. it’s a chilled family restaurant. i recommend it for their yummy gelato after a delicious meal.

i finally got the chance to go here. had the ovo sapiens breakfast. the food is good and fresh. the ambiance is especially inside is amazing. it’s a very homey kind of restaurant. i loved it, i felt like i was having breakfast at home. good food and great atmosphere 👍🏾

what an absolutely amazing experience. food was fresh and fabulous. ambiance was cozy and authentic. and the waiter (who’s name i forgot now) went the extra mile to make us all feel warm and welcome. will definitely be back. 🙏
