what a find! we heard from friends about this new spot that has recently opened on the new development on the kingston foreshore. we came in for breakfast on a sunday morning and it was full with no spare seats, upon entering a waiter asked if we were looking for a seat and told us to hold tight while he organised a table. i thought this was extremely courteous and professional as they were busy yet he took the time to arrange a table for us. we ordered the green breaky plate and pea pancake and 2 of their cold pressed juices, we were given a run down on the whole foods aspect of this cafe and the method of juicing they use which was a very nice touch. the food was outstanding! being a self proclaimed foodie i have never really quite ate a dish like the greens breaky plate and was a little sceptical but was amazed at the quality and freshness also the balance of flavours was spot on! we had coffee and a chocolate brownie after our meals and was a very nice way to finish up agreatexperience. if you haven't been yet make sure you check it out! definitely my new weekend hang out.

new favourite. after only a week on the canberra cafe scene this little gem on the kingston foreshore has made a big impact. focussing on whole foods and cold pressed juices, local press hits all the right notes for me. coffee was smooth and i love that they use bonsoy. the daily green juice was perfect, not too sweet and agreatbalance of flavours. and then come the babagounsh on sourdough, agreatcombination of flavours and at $12.50 it is fantastic value. so nice to see a place that is passionate about providing customers with quality food at reasonable prices. the interior is perfect and i can definitely see myself coming here a lot.

it was good, i had the minestrone soup of day which was nice and flavourful. a nice bit of chilli was served on the side which was agreataddition.

anyone else feel like country music is slowly squeezing into today’s music scene? i’m pretty happy about it as i’m a big country music fan. had the bacon and egg bagel with a long black for breakfast this morning. danny also had the same thing except he got a flat white instead of a long black. we reckon we will go back tomorrow cause we liked it.greatwater view too. coffee 7.7/10

one of my favourite brunch places in canberra! haven’t had a dish that didn’t taste good yet.

this time i tried the lp breakfast with the minty kiwi smoothie and my friends had the salmon on rye. the flavors were balanced wonderfully, however my one gripe would be there was too much avo, but i am not a big avo fan.

the smoothie was very coconutty and you couldn’t really taste any kiwi or mint (didn’t really live up to its name) but i guess it was healthy. i probably would go for the salted peanut caramel one next time though.

overall agreatmeal.

i definitely love the decorations of this place, so chic and fun! would be nice to hang out with loved ones here or just sit and have a nice coffee by yourself. the view isgreattoo - it’s next to the lake. i tried the lp breakfast and especially loved the various types of mushrooms in it. the mint kiwi smoothie is awesome too - it’s got a bit traditional chinese medicine “goqi” in there and i love it!!!so sad i’m only in canberra for a weekend. if i live here i would for sure come again.

had agreatbrunch with my husband. food is amazing, atmosphere comfortable and food very good. one of the best hams we ever tried. we ordered the croque madame and the breakfast tortilla but almost stay around for a second meal lol... definitely coming back next time in melbourne.

great local cafe, fresh & bright. we stopped here for late lunch on a hot hot day. but you hardly feel the heat inside the cafe. interesting decor filled with cute nik naks. the food were simple yet exciting. i had the chilli scrabble, essentially scrambled eggs with blue swimmer crab with the extra kick of chilli. the egg was smooth & there were a good chucks of crab. my friends were also happy with their duck salad (lean yet tender), and the 12 hours lamb shoulder on flat bread. the juices were very refreshing as well. all roundgreatcafe, happy that we ventured out in the heat.

we had the green pea pancakes and the medley of tastes worked really well together and the gluten free waffles was delicious. they accommodate for lactose intolerance by leaving out the yoghurt.

went to the local press for a lazy breakfast /brunch (lunch menu avail from 11am) with a group of mates who were all visiting canberra. everything we had wasgreata few of us went for the brekky menu (delicious wild mushroom, green pea pancake - pictured) and others went for lunch which from all accounts was just as good! service was relatively quick and efficient with the only slight area the experience that could have been improved was the fact that we had to go up to make an order meaning all our food came out at different times, didn't help that the place was packed! all in allgreatspot and will definitely be paying it another visit when back in canberra!

this popular cafe was worth the short wait we had this morning. food was interesting and very generous. if you are not too hungry i definitely recommend sharing one of the brunch dishes. we had a dukkah egg, kale, quinoa, fetta dish which was lovely and arrived quickly. pay at the counter deal.greatlocation next to the lake. we had to wait abiut 10 min at 9.30 on a sunday so i think getting there early is a good idea - i imagine the wait at 11am would be long!
