life is good korean bbq

went here for my birthday dinner with my bff's in november 2017 we had agreattime!  the chef/owner came out to our table and helped us order from the menu and the food was fantastic!!! loved the bbq beef was fantastic as well as the cabbage and veggies along with it!!!

we ordered four dishes and all of them were unique in flavour and delicious. the atmosphere was modern and the service was helpful and friendly. we're definitely coming back. greatnew find.

delicious! fantastic food. very helpful staff for newbies at korean food. i understand they've gone through a few concept changes so older negative reviews may not be relevant? we loved every bite andgreatatmosphere.

new buffet!. tried the friday night buffet and the selection was excellent. the ribs and meat cooked on the korean charcoal were so flavourful and the ribs were so tender. two soups, a salad bar, multiple choices of sweet or spicy meats and veggies, rice and noodles,greatoptions for kids like chicken nuggets and dipping sauces, and the heavenly grilled meats. try the korean punch with fruit....incredibly refreshing. no msg. going back for sure! the service was perfect....helpful, friendly and warm. we've become regulars.

very tasty food, good portions, reasonably priced lunch menu, friendly and helpful servers. when i expressed my fondness for the hot sauce, i was kindly given the gift of a small container to take home. we have become once a week lunch regulars. anxious to try the evening menu.

absolutely fantastic!.greatplace,greatfood,greatservice. glad we stopped there. we have two small kids and they really enjoyed the food and experience as well. definitely worth trying.

delicious!. the atmosphere was great. the staff is helpful and gave reallygreatservice. the food was delicious. i had the sweet duck (i can't remember the actual name of the dish) and it was great. the egg appetizer was really simple but yummy. i can't imagine why anyone would think the portions are too small. for some reason there was christmas music playing in the restaurant, which was kind of funny. overall, it was a reallygreatdining experience, and i would definitely go back.

feels like vegas. really awesome atmosphere, felt like i was in high dining in vegas... but in regina? we ordered the duck and bbq ribs meal set. egg appetizer sucked. then came the plate full of salad, noodles/rice,, spicy soup and dressing. my wife and i loved it, the dressing for salad was the best. the main course was huge, they cooked it in front of us.
for those who can't justify spending 29.99 for a fine dining should not be fine dining. something similar in vegas would go for over 100 each person.
waitress spoke little english, but we could understand her and she made agreateffort to serve us. definitelygreatoverall and would be back soon.

very friendly staff. yes there is a language problem but they work so hard to be helpful. food was way more than i could eat.greatflavour. would recommend to anyone. not your usual restaurant or menu.

great experience. i have no idea what it takes to make some fussy people happy. seems like only the squeaky wheels like to comment and vent. i have been there twice now with my goup of friends. we just went there on dec 8. our group of 6 absolutely loved the unique food. if you want cheeseburgers and fries then don't come here. if youre looking for a unique experience and taste true korean cuisine, then this is for you. we had the $30 dollar food special. it included some of the best smoked korean chicken i have ever tasted. i also truly enjoyed the pork/pad thai dish. it was truly amazing and delicious. service was excellent and the owner "annie" was an absolute treat. she came and spoke with us and even was there to see how we enjoyed the meal. as for service, it seems like they have shook the new restaurant hiccups because we had someone at our table every few minutes. i have nothing bad to say about this place and am looking forward to coming back to sample other unique dishes and new firsts.greatfor people and coulpes looking for something new and explore new tastes.

friendly service and smiles all around. what agreatrestaurant. my wife and i decided on a whim to come here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and service. good, tasty korean food and a very friendly server. i didn't think the language barrier was a problem, instead it added to the authenticity of the restaurant. very good value for money. we'll definately be going back - gangnam style!
