liberty market has an amazing wood fired pizza oven. it’s an renato oven that ranges from 600 degrees to nearly 1,000 degrees and never goes cold. they only use pecan (from arizona) wood in the oven because it burns very evenly. liberty market makes its own pizza dough and you can catch the cooks tossing them as you wait in line to eat. they use san marzano tomatoes for their sauce and they don’t cook it a secondtimein the oven out of fear of losing it’s flavor.

so good!. food was fresh, and so good! 4 of us went, and we all loved our entrees! flat iron steak was awesome. grillled fish was cooked perfectly! the pasta also hot and fresh and seasoned perfectly. and the sides were soooo good too.

all of the staff were super friendly, and we cant wait to go back the nexttimewe're in the area.

fun place to go. the lines can be a little long during the normal rush hours, but the food is great and it's worth the wait. i've had the pesto pizza, which was so amazing. the crust was perfect, it was thick and crunchy but not to greasy. the chicken sandwich was anything but a normal boring chicken sandwhich......it just tasted better. sitting outside is fun, and the lasttimei went there the wait staff (i wish i could remember names) was amazing. also, thier coffee is so very good. it's a "don't miss it" kind place.

reminds me of lgo. i like this corner deli/ diner.
i was hoping it would be more like the biltmore area l.g.o.,
but it takestimeto develop character,if it's real.
food pretty good, soup & sandwich mostly. service sincerely friendly. i think a good thing is going here.
love the location, across from joes real bbq.
menu a little limited,as is the market section. don't mean to be pretentious, but if they copied l.g.o., which is terriffic & tremendously successful, i could see a real winner and asset to the neighborhood.

gilbert jewel. joe johnston and chef david traina have smacked it out of the park this time! a warm, friendly atmosphere in a historic building in downtown gilbert that just happens to server excellent food!
since it's opening this past october my wife and have been back many times and are continually amazed. breakfast or lunch/dinner this lovely spot has comforting food and filling portions.
for breakfast i must recommend the griddled bread pudding which is a tasty creation that will keep you from ordering french toast ever again. creamy custard flavour with mild spices and a wonderful mable syrup with a mild hint of coffee that makes it not too sweet and just the right partner to the bread pudding. i was enraptured and could barely finish since the portion is quite generous.
not in the mood for a full breakfast? how about a wonderful cinnimon roll made fresh and a bowl of hot chocolate? (also made fresh, no canned choclate here!) or a wonderful cup of coffee from their vintage coffee bar. either way you will be satisfied.
lunch and dinner feature salads or pressed sandwiches on freshly made bread and wonderful pizzas made for you in a wood fired oven. of the two pizzas i have tried, the white pizza and the molinari pizza, i have been unable to choose a favorite.
the service is spectacular with both the wait staff and the owners take thetimeto make sure your visit is the best one yet. i can barely tell you how much we enjoy this cafe, it is definately worth the trip to gilbert.
