maybe if i had been willing to pay 30 bucks for a steak my take on this place would be much more positive. but i was let down. we paid way too much for what we got which was standard mexican fare with no bells or whistles. the service sucked too - he kept coming by, like 15 times throught the meal. didn't really breed the romantic dinner i was hoping for...

the fillet is decent. they use too much butter on the steaks killing most of the flavor of the beef.

just ok. the food is good. however, for their price - excuse me, ha, ha - you would think that they were amazing. i suppose they think that if they charge a lot of $$, then you'll think that their food is all that. ;-)

perfect. i got the buffalo ribeye with the rum carrots and potatoes, my friends both got steaks including a new york strip. all of our steak were cook liked we asked the first time and the wine list was superb and the waiter even suggested a few wines based on our tastes and we enjoyed the meeker merlot which also as an interesting bottle. the service was top notch, but casual like the atmosphere. all the courses were full flavored and robust. that was the best meal i have had in town so far, beating out ceagles and the double nickel. the steaks are amazing; again.
