one of the best places to eat in lbk! queso, jalapeños, pasta, steaks...all excellent.

rip-off. the service was terrible; the wait staff is not trained or supervised. the medium filet steak i ordered was cold and raw in the center, it took 20 minutes to get another steak and by then my baked potato was cold. this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant with very high prices to match but falls far short. they have a "cook" and definitely not a "chief". a total waste of money, there are several good restaurants in lubbock that have owner involvement, this is not one of them. their manager does not have a clue what an upscale restaurant is.

great steaks!. this place is the best you will find for a classy atmosphere and great food. my boyfriend and i go every valentine's day. it is well worth the wait. the staff is always friendly and personable. a great place for a nice party/ wedding reception. table side dessert is fun and delicious. i always get the filet mignon and i am always pleased. for those of you who thought the steak was dry or tough i recommend not ordering your steak well done. in my opinion, if you order steak well, you are deserving of what you get. learn how to eat a steak appropriately. this place is the best in lubbock and a breath of fresh air in this culture-less and class-less hell hole.

fantastic. my wife and i eat here anytime we can. we love the patio when they have live music. i have had steaks all over and have had trouble finding one as good as theirs. love the selection of good wines all the way out here in west texas. i would recommend this place to anyone who asks.

not worth the $. don't mind paying top dollar for a quality steak, but the service should match the price and the food should be outstanding. even had my steak been cooked properly it was a flavorless hunk. hostess and servers could use a lesson in congeniality. if you're going to charge someone $$$ for a meal, then the service should be commensurate. extremely disappointed and will not ever be going back.

love this place! great food and service everytime i'm there! the filet is amazing and i love the salmon also! it may be pricey but worth every cent!

best food in lubbock by far!!! don't know where the "don't likes" come from. everytime i eat at las brisas it is outstanding!

anyone who hasn't tried las brisas needs to get there! i have eaten around the country at the best of them: nine in vegas, gibsons, peter lugars, mortons...and others and las brisas is right there if not better. steak like that in lubbock is a lottery win! i saw some negative reviews just like any place but not one i found to be true, (chef said there isn't even a pinch of pepper on the salmon!) service was top notch, food was out of this world and our group was treated like vips with handshakes and attention. if you love wine quit looking and go to las brisas. whoever voted "doesn't like it" must not have eaten here or can't compete with them! las brisas is a remarkable steakhouse!

i didn't understand. the hype surrounding this place. the staff was very mediocre and the steak was horrible. my ribeye had zero flavor whatsoever. not even salt or pepper.

it was like they fried it in butter or something. nasty. way overpriced and there are a lot better steaks in lubbock than here.

rude staff and charges 18% gratuity on parties of six or more. go to texas roadhouse instead or abielo's if you're seeking mexican food.

i tried it because of urban spoon i'm from dallas and meets all expectations of a good steak but more price worthy at under 30$. i will return when in town again. ask for scott he was not my server but asked if i needed something when my glass was empty!!! that is great service. white queso was good cannot wait to try the sea bass next time!

i read a lot of mixed reviews on uspoon, so tried it out myself. wow. not kidding, best flavored steak i've ever eaten- go for the bone in ribeye! yeah it's pricy, but it's a hundred times better quality than any roadhouse restaurant.. and the sides were almost as good as the steak! great unique ceasar and more wine than you could imagine. cool place, cool staff, our server was a guy they called knuckles, ask him to tell you a joke, funny guy! will be back again and again!

horrible waste of money and food. this place was just horrible. the food was flavorless and greasy and ridiculously over priced. i would never ever go here again. i would swear that our server was either drunk or severely hung over, he was swaying and bumped into the table several times. also, although we went to dinner early, at like 5:30, so that it wasn't busy, they seated us in the back room where all we could see were a sea of empty tables. no view. no windows. not even in the same room as the lovely view even though the place was pretty much empty. totally inexcusable. salads were pretty lame and bland too.
