mediocre.greatfood, when compared to an applebee's. las brisas wants to be a premium steak house, but is falling short. service staff is not trained to be premium servers, hostess is more or less ambivalent. why does everything have to come with asparagus and if you want something else, it costs more?

meh. las brisas is not as good as it used to be. i just went for the first time in about one year and everything was different. the service wasgreatbut that was the only good thing. the steak was bland and too chewy. the asparagus also had very little flavor. they charge $2 to substitute for a different side, which is ridiculous. they used to give two sides but now they just give you one. even the tea tasted different! i always thought they had reallygreatblack tea but now it just tastes like bland lipton. this would all be fine except that the bill was $100 for two people and we didn't get any alcohol. i will not be going back.

this place has gone slightly downhill. they used to begreatat pleasing the customer and making sure their steaks were cooked perfectly and the food was hot. we got the stuffed avocado and the middle was cold. first they gave us a new one...and it was cold, too. then they said well it is supposed to be cold on the inside. even though they brought us a new one because at first they said it was supposed to be hot all the way through. make up your mind. the waiters are a little snobby because they don't try to go out of their way to please the customer.

in bone ribeye. i think the steak was ok but nothing like mortons or ruth chris ,. the streak is not aged . the price is high and not really worth what you pay .. i have been a round the world and no one in lubbock will do a good aged steak place .. i think that the service starts to hurt brcause the lack of staff. i think it is over priced and there cooks need to slow down and make my steak right.

great steaks!. this place is the best you will find for a classy atmosphere andgreatfood. my boyfriend and i go every valentine's day. it is well worth the wait. the staff is always friendly and personable. agreatplace for a nice party/ wedding reception. table side dessert is fun and delicious. i always get the filet mignon and i am always pleased. for those of you who thought the steak was dry or tough i recommend not ordering your steak well done. in my opinion, if you order steak well, you are deserving of what you get. learn how to eat a steak appropriately. this place is the best in lubbock and a breath of fresh air in this culture-less and class-less hell hole.

love this place!greatfood and service everytime i'm there! the filet is amazing and i love the salmon also! it may be pricey but worth every cent!

i tried it because of urban spoon i'm from dallas and meets all expectations of a good steak but more price worthy at under 30$. i will return when in town again. ask for scott he was not my server but asked if i needed something when my glass was empty!!! that isgreatservice. white queso was good cannot wait to try the sea bass next time!

i read a lot of mixed reviews on uspoon, so tried it out myself. wow. not kidding, best flavored steak i've ever eaten- go for the bone in ribeye! yeah it's pricy, but it's a hundred times better quality than any roadhouse restaurant.. and the sides were almost as good as the steak!greatunique ceasar and more wine than you could imagine. cool place, cool staff, our server was a guy they called knuckles, ask him to tell you a joke, funny guy! will be back again and again!

best in the lbk. i have eaten here several times, and it has never failed to impress me.greatwine menu, fantastic desserts and appetizers (i would strongly suggest the kahlua creme brulee), and the best steak you can get in western texas. very much worth the expense.
