the best thing about this place is theviewfrom the patio, it is fantastic.  unfortunately the same can not be said about the food.  it simply is not good.  as much as we love theviewand would have liked to frequented this place, we just can't because the food is that bad.

the ahi tuna appetizer, the grilled fish po'boy the bloody mary's , creme brûlée cheesecake and the atmosphere,viewwere amazing. would go back .soon.

i went for the first time recently and it was delicious! the quick friendly service also added onto the experience as well. great location andviewalso!

one of my favorite spots!. i have been going to lakeside for years now. i love theviewof the lake and the food. the menu has a wonderful variety to choose from. the fried asparagus is my all time favorite appetizer. my husband loves the pork tenderloin and always orders it! i enjoy the black and bleu salad. pair either of them with the caymus and you have a meal!

greatviewand interesting menu. to start i suggest that you ask to be seated as high up in the dinning room you can if possible to allow for a bestviewof the river and surroundings. although i did not one may eat outside and provide probably an even better view.
i like variety in the places i go to eat and they had that here. appetizers and dishes were not overwhelming in the options but certainty lareg enough to make you think about what you might have.

i had the app of asparagus and it was frankly too large for one person. deep fried and served with a fairly spicy sauce it was very tastey. for the entree i had the chicken , which was described as a house specialty. although good it was not great but i think that i may have misread the description and was expecting more of a chicken breat filet rather than a bone in breast. in any event it was covered in an onion gravy over mashed poatoes. good regardless of my earlier thought.

pricing was very similiar to that of parkside tavern that i understand is in the same family.

greatviewof lake, yummy food. great apps, juicy steaks, fresh salads, delicious pasta. something for everyone. been here many times, never a bad meal, always speedy service. beautiful lake view! good with big groups or date night. love this place!

best of tennessee. this is an amazing place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. the service is great, theviewbeautiful, and the food is delicious. try the strawberry cake! i have never had a bad experience, and i visit at least once a week. love it!

sad service & mediocre food but greatviewof the lake!. it is a very nice location and the restaurant itself is very nice overlooking the lake. i live close by so it is convenient and i have been there many times with my family. sadly, the food is painfully mediocre and the majority of the wait staff are teenagers who are more interested in standing around the wait-stations texting on their cellphones, rather than providing adequate service to patrons who would gladly leave good tips, if the service reflects accordingly. sad that obviously the manager can't hire quality wait staff. i'm sure his choices are limited. that's one sad indication of our society in west knoxville. sadly a lot of people have a bad impression of west knoxville as consisting of snobs and young people who aren't raised with any manners. sadly lakeside tavern is an example of this.

location is great.viewis outstanding. some of the coldest beer around. did i mention the food? it is ok. service, well the location makes up for it.
