25.00 for cold scallops fries must have new management, was rude and we waited 30min for ourfood great view poor management cold food

loved it!!. tonight was our first visit to lakeside tavern and we were impressed!! thefoodwas exceptional, the service was great and the setting is beautiful. we will definitely be returning.

crcii. can be good, can be bad. trouble is, you never know as there is no consistency! i have had their sunday brunch twice and both times were good with a nice selection.

crcii. i have been here several times because i'm close and like the idea of it. sadly you never know what to expect! one time it is good and the next time it is horrible! there is absolutely no consistency at all here. it's a shame cause it's a beautiful place for a restaurant!

chuck. talk about inconsistency! you never know what you are going to get. one time thefoodis good, next time it is horrible! same with service! great atmosphere! it's a shame they can't get it right!

the best thing about this place is the view from the patio, it is fantastic.  unfortunately the same can not be said about the food.  it simply is not good.  as much as we love the view and would have liked to frequented this place, we just can't because thefoodis that bad.

consitantly consitant. this is my goto when i want a sure thing, good service, goodfoodand good atmosphere. the room is a little noisy something that i notice is becoming popular again in restaurants. thefoodis alway prepared perfectly, the service is prompt but not hovering and overall the value is very good. call ahead to limit your wait.

i've been before and loved the food. this second time, however was terrible. our server tried, i'll give him that, but i had to send myfoodback twice because the steak was horrible and the salmon was charred black it was so burnt. finally they sent me home with a salmon that wasn't over cooked but just thrown in a box with no presentation whatsoever. thefoodrunners are very rude. my boyfriend and i were still finishing our salads when our entrees were shoved in our faces. this inconsistency is sad and disappointing. i thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant before tonight. no one even came out to apologize for the ridiculously badfoodi received this evening. the management obviously doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

very impressed! service was excellent andfoodwas amazing. i always order my steaks well-done and it was perfect. not burnt and very tender!

i was very surprised.. my wife and i meant daughter, her husband, and their two little boys for dinner. we arrived first and requested a table for six on the patio. we were told we could not be seated on the patio without one more person from our party. then they said we could go get our own drinks at the bar, and we could go sit in some wooden chair out beyond the patio. we noticed that there were two people over in the corner on the entire patio that we were not allowed on. bottom line..foodwas mediocre at best, we were made to feel very uncomfortable, and unwelcome. next time i drop a couple hundred for a dinner it will not be at the lakeside.

best of tennessee. this is an amazing place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. the service is great, the view beautiful, and thefoodis delicious. try the strawberry cake! i have never had a bad experience, and i visit at least once a week. love it!

sad service & mediocrefoodbut great view of the lake!. it is a very nice location and the restaurant itself is very nice overlooking the lake. i live close by so it is convenient and i have been there many times with my family. sadly, thefoodis painfully mediocre and the majority of the wait staff are teenagers who are more interested in standing around the wait-stations texting on their cellphones, rather than providing adequate service to patrons who would gladly leave good tips, if the service reflects accordingly. sad that obviously the manager can't hire quality wait staff. i'm sure his choices are limited. that's one sad indication of our society in west knoxville. sadly a lot of people have a bad impression of west knoxville as consisting of snobs and young people who aren't raised with any manners. sadly lakeside tavern is an example of this.

love being here~!. i've been to lakeside tavern many times over the years and have always been very happy. i love the atmosphere,foodand service. i was surprised to see so many bad comments listed here but i guess the people that aren't happy tend to be quicker to complain rather then the people that are happy to compliment. so here's one to you, lakeside tavern! i think your resturant is wonderful! love your friday happy hours too!~

one of our favorites. we frequently eat here for lunch during the week and have always found thefoodto be excellent and the service outstanding. the bread is among the best in knoxville and our servers frequently offer us more to take home. it would be hard to beat the location and the ambiance. it is a 40 minute drive from our home to reach this restaurant, but always worth the drive!
