crcii. can be good, can be bad. trouble is, you never know as there is no consistency! i have had their sunday brunch twice and bothtimeswere good with a nice selection.

crcii. i have been here severaltimesbecause i'm close and like the idea of it. sadly you never know what to expect! one time it is good and the next time it is horrible! there is absolutely no consistency at all here. it's a shame cause it's a beautiful place for a restaurant!

chuck. talk about inconsistency! you never know what you are going to get. one time the food is good, next time it is horrible! same with service! great atmosphere! it's a shame they can't get it right!

i have been to lakeside a dozentimesand never written a review. they have awesome chicken tenders, salmon or several other dishes. the bread is to die for and their brunch is almost as good as copper cellar. the only thing i have not been impressed with is their steaks. you also can't beat the view.

sad service & mediocre food but great view of the lake!. it is a very nice location and the restaurant itself is very nice overlooking the lake. i live close by so it is convenient and i have been there manytimeswith my family. sadly, the food is painfully mediocre and the majority of the wait staff are teenagers who are more interested in standing around the wait-stations texting on their cellphones, rather than providing adequate service to patrons who would gladly leave good tips, if the service reflects accordingly. sad that obviously the manager can't hire quality wait staff. i'm sure his choices are limited. that's one sad indication of our society in west knoxville. sadly a lot of people have a bad impression of west knoxville as consisting of snobs and young people who aren't raised with any manners. sadly lakeside tavern is an example of this.

get the onion rings!. been there severaltimesand have not been disappointed. fried fish and onion rings are great!

love being here~!. i've been to lakeside tavern manytimesover the years and have always been very happy. i love the atmosphere, food and service. i was surprised to see so many bad comments listed here but i guess the people that aren't happy tend to be quicker to complain rather then the people that are happy to compliment. so here's one to you, lakeside tavern! i think your resturant is wonderful! love your friday happy hours too!~

finley. my wife and i have eaten here fivetimesand she rates them a b and i an a...especially on the preparation of their steaks. i love it.
